"JFK: 24 hours after" questions - Drew Phipps - 12-07-2015
Saw this one again on the History Channel today and made two notes:
Audio played of radioed news mentioning the "6th floor of the Texas Book Depository": I realize that they're not playing these recordings in any particular order, but the playing of this one, prior to the playing of recordings announcing JFK's death, implies that is the way these recordings were originally aired. Someone assure me that stories mentioning the 6th floor of the TSBD were not actually aired until after the stories of JFK's death.
Audio purporting to be the words of AF1 pilot: Pilot claims "it got dark about 30 minutes before we landed" (in Washington). Knowing this to be a key issue, I make note of the sunset time in Washington DC on 11/22: 4:50 PM (EST). Twilight (it isn't dark yet even though the sun has set) ends an hour later: 5:52 PM (EST). If 30 minutes after that is touchdown, that would be 6:24 PM (EST) Source: http://www.timeanddate.com/sun/usa/washington-dc
From what I recall, the filming of the removal of the casket from the plane is at 6:04 PM (EST).
Is this simply another example of this film botching the facts, or is this a real historical discrepancy?

I caught the last 20 minutes. It is a flagrant example of making LBJ look like the victim of the terribly snobby and discriminating Kennedy clan who never accepted him and ruined his presidency because of their bias. Especially that little SOB RFK.
I hope somebody can post it because it is one of the worst examples of assassination propaganda I have ever seen.
