NATO's Latest Secret Army - Lauren Johnson - 28-05-2016 Actually it's being called a new "secret" army for the EU, but what's the difference. This charge comes from UK MP's in the context of the Brexit vote coming up. The charges certainly seem accurate and should be seen in the context of the war on Russia. Quote:British voters are being "conned" by Brussels officials who are keeping plans for a European army secret until after the referendum, leading Tories have claimed.Liam Fox, the former defence secretary who served under David Cameron, told The Telegraph that the ambitions showed the EU is wedded to the "dangerous fantasy" of creating a single defence force. NATO's Latest Secret Army - Magda Hassan - 28-05-2016 I always thought and assumed a EU army was happening from the get go. That is another reason reason for NATO's mysterious presence in Europe. After the Warsaw Pact was disbanded it should have been "Thank you NATO from protecting us from those dastardly evil communists but we are all right from now on. Thanks and good bye." But it wasn't. And all these things need to be done in public for the people to see what their elected representatives are doing in their name. Secret meetings and no cameras and no publicity and no distributed documents cannot be the norm in society. If it is so bloody wonderful they should be publicising it everywhere. But we know it isn't. NATO's Latest Secret Army - Michael Barwell - 28-05-2016 Problem is, that the embryonic EU army, the Franco-German Brigade, the Germans wanted to speak English, an' the French wanted to speak French, so they ended-up speaking French & German & English by default. The Septics are very strongly against an EU-autonomous army, 'cos it'll diminish their influence, despite their $$-bleating. Nice to see it mooted again tho'; this new book - 2017: War with Russia by General Sir Richard Shirreff - review - http://www.standard.co.uk/lifestyle/books/2017-war-with-russia-by-general-sir-richard-shirreff-review-a3252576.html might be related to these same mootings. I've got it on order. The last by Mark Urban's a bit of an eye opener - The Edge: Is the Military Dominance of the West Coming to an End? by Mark Urban reviewA wake-up call to the danger posed by the rise of Russia, India and China - plus new nuclear powers and the technology arms race' - https://www.theguardian.com/books/2015/apr/17/the-edge-is-the-military-dominance-of-the-west-coming-to-an-end-mark-urban-review ; quite revealing of major trends, like the number of aircraft carriers the USN has lost since Gulf War pt2 - Kuwait, and the way other navies are starting to acquire them, & how the F22's apparently not so good, & the F35 is set to be "clubbed like baby seals" next time it comes-up against 30yr old simple, dedicated, Russki air superiority aircraft. Interesting how ppl're queueing-up to buy it, but I suspect that's down to the pilot-command interface - mind control. [oh, neuralgic... - first of the day, and the Red Arrows flew-over too, earlier-on, in diamond formation, I think... So it goes]. |
