Rose Cherami: Gathering Fallen Petals - Jim DiEugenio - 13-11-2016

A book about Melba C Youngblood, alias Rose Cherami, by her son and journalist Norma Kirkpatrick is out.

Todd Eliot wrote a pamphlet about her a few years ago, but this is a full scale bio.

The book comes down for her being murdered in 1965, not killed by a hit and run driver.

Nice review Jim, albeit it short for you. She would have been so proud of this son.
My friend J Harrison used to always visit her grave and take others there.
So many murders. Probably way more than we know of.

LOL

Short for me. Well I see what you mean.

Seven pages is kind of brief for me. Long for most others.

The most interesting part is the ending where they theorize she was murdered. I understand Sherry Fiester also thinks this was the case.

I will try and talk to her about this at Lancer.

I agree with you and Jay, she was a key witness.
