Issue #: 9

Description: Consider adding ability to download thread as pdf &/or html &/or doc (download as txt already implemented).
There are now many threads I consider important enough to archive in my computer, but it seems only as .txt files is it possible. This eliminates any photos and much of the formatting. Does the software allow other options - even .doc with photos or .pdf with photos? ...

Myra, could I add to guests PM admin to register "to do list" that we place a note in an obvious part of the forum stating that interested parties can PM admin to enquire about registering for membership etc.

Low urgency, but it would be great to have a larger library of emoticons and be able to insert them inside the message body rather than just in the message caption...

Emoticon boy.

David, I'm not too clear what you are asking here. Can you explain to me a bit more and I'll see what I can do.

Hello Magda...

Say, when I check NEW POSTS, there's 15 posts. I'm have interest in two. When I'm finished looking at those two, I want to clear the remaining new posts (13 in this case) when my session is over. How do I do that?

David Healy

Magda & Myra are the whizzes here, but I suspect the solution lies in subscribing or unsubscribing to specific threads under the "UserCP" tab.

David - I await correction, but I suspect that if you actively subscribe to the threads that interest you, then when you log on afresh and click on the "User CP" tab, it will automatically show you when those threads have been updated.

To check for new threads that may (or may not) be of interest you, you would then click on the New Posts tab, or take a look in specific folders/directories.

To put it another way, you would be using the various tabs at the top to customize the site, selecting the subjects that interest you and filtering out most of the rest.

My understanding of the way vBulletin software is set up (ie the default position) is that when you make a post in a thread, it is AUTOMATICALLY subscribed to your "UserCP".
