Under the Sponsor, Facilitator, Mechanic model Hunt would be a plausibly deniable source who was induced by the true Sponsors...Other such set-up alleged sources would be LBJ, the mafia, etc...
Michael Collins Piper said Ruby got phone calls from old mob friends associated with Mickey Cohen...So that would raise questions about Hunt being the originator of the order to kill Oswald...It seems the cops who murdered Oswald in the Police Station basement were confident that more than just Hunt would protect them...
