TSBD in the 1970's and 1980's - Jim_Shannon - 29-10-2009 Greetings everyone, I just signed onto this news group the other day. This is my first post here to this forum. Some interesting articles. I'm not an expert on the JFK assassination. I was 11 yrs old when JFK was assassinated although I don't remember much of that weekend. I've been studying this case since the Internet began. I have my own spin on the assassination but that's another story for another time. I hope to learn a much as possible and I'll be asking questions. Enough about me Now for this post. I've delved through documents. There is info out there about the Texas School book Depository building over the years. I'm wondering about the TSBD operation after the assassination/WC/HSCA etc. All I know about what became of the TSBD operations is they moved their operations to North West Dallas in about 1971. I'm looking for any photographs or print references of those premises of the TSBD operations in the mid to late 1970's-to present day. Does anyone here know anything about this obscure topic? I'd really appreciate any info on this, thanks Jim TSBD in the 1970's and 1980's - Bernice Moore - 29-10-2009 jim there may be some info that you seek within this link......carry on.......http://www.maryferrell.org/mffweb/archive/textsearch/advancedResults.do http://www.maryferrell.org/mffweb/archive/textsearch/advancedResults.do jim the link is not transferring the info......:afraid:...go to mary's and sign in for the free memberhip or.......pay for full........then type articles texas school book depository in their search much info appears......it may be of help.....there is not a great deal of info readily available since the assn not really within the research..it is and has been protected imo......b TSBD in the 1970's and 1980's - Bernice Moore - 29-10-2009 http://www.maryferrell.org/mffweb/archive/viewer/showDoc.do?absPageId=519339 411 elm william weston b//this article may have some info within for you...b TSBD in the 1970's and 1980's - Jim_Shannon - 29-10-2009 thanks Bernice, I'm currently going through the links Jim TSBD in the 1970's and 1980's - Jim_Shannon - 29-10-2009 I went through the William Weston article. TSBD in the 1970's and 1980's - Jim_Shannon - 29-10-2009 Thanks Magda, There was an interesting bit in that article however that the TSBD staff even in their new location after 1970 were often harassed. Even Roy Truly feared for his life right up until 1985 Jim TSBD in the 1970's and 1980's - Magda Hassan - 29-10-2009 Yes, Jim I believe that was the case. I've seen that stated some where and I can't recall where. Gil Jesus video? TSBD in the 1970's and 1980's - Jim_Shannon - 29-10-2009 Magda: the other thing I'm thinking about is if the TSBD book operation moved to the Houston St. Warehouse in the 1970's. I haven't read any of the HSCA testimony of any surviving members like Bonnie Ray Williams, James Jarman, or Wesley Frazier for clues. That wouldn't help me. I've been through many of Gill Jesus's YouTube video's.
