Lessons of the Past - Keith Millea - 01-05-2010 http://www.commondreams.org/further/2010/04/30-2 04.30.10 - 2:42 PM Lessons of the Past by Abby Zimet Today marks the 35th anniversary of the fall, or liberation, of Saigon, and the end of the Vietnam War. Lessons of the Past - Keith Millea - 04-05-2010 Magda, Whenever I view that picture my mind thinks of the elk(Wapiti) that are quite abundant in this State. They are my most favorite of the wild animals here, and they are easily spotted by their rear end which is very light colored.I was looking for a picture to post here, and found out that in the Shawnee language,Wapiti basically means "white rump".Hey,it all fits...
