Facial recognition software to go public - Bernice Moore - 03-09-2010 http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/news/7958511/Facial-recognition-software-to-go-public.html Facial recognition software to go public - Frank Nelson - 03-09-2010 This software could be extremely useful to JFK visuals researchers in the future, especially if it can detect a false facial image (an image created by composit construction, overlaps, mattes, artwork, etc.) or a duplicated facial image in a series of motion picture frames. If it can do that, I am sure the first media it will be applied to will be the Zapruder film and other JFK attack visuals. There have been rumors floating around for a few years now that just such software does exist in this country and is used by an elite few to spot infiltrators and imposters attempting to access military facilities. I have heard that it may eventually be introduced to banks and merchants to quietly detect a thief using a fradulent credt card or trying to access someones bank account. Time will tell if a universally accepted conclusion concerning JFK visuals falsification allegations is on the horizon and this software may be the straw that flattens the haystack. It can also recognize iris pattern of eye for positive ID, if they have it on record. I'm not aware it is available to anyone outside of Police/Military/Intelligence/etc., so its use by the research community for photo anaysis is, I think, wishful thinking. It is an evil technology on the whole, making it possible to track [more than already done] the movements and identification of all - at all times - in just about all places. Sadly, the 'authorities' can't be trusted to only use it for real criminals - as they see anyone who doesn't buy their lies, misconstrutions of history or their political/economic/environmental/social-control voodoo as 'enemies' too. |
