They came to pay tribute to President Kennedy and a speech he delivered 50 years ago. But it was another Kennedy and another speech that had Beacon Hill buzzing yesterday.

Is it just me or does anyone else see the proposition that we should shun "Death to Cheney" shouts from the left as a strawman designed to divert attention from the fact a war criminal not only went unpunished but was allowed to brag about it later on?

Bernice, Thank you for sharing this video. Watching JFK talk about having the courage to not only stand[size=12] up to our enemies but to one's own associates as well when it is necessary rings true for what he stood for then and what he stands for now. JFK was truly a man of courage who resisted public pressure as well as private greed - a trait not shared by most future presidents unfortunately. [/SIZE][/FONT] [/FONT]

your welcome ZACH, EVERY NOW AND THEN I GO TO HIS SPEECHES TO , WELL PERHAPS BECOME RECENTRED, I THINK JFK STOOD FOR WHAT HE SAW IN MAN AS WHAT COULD BE CALLED THE GOOD PARTS, HE ALSO APPEARED TO KNOW THAT TO STAND UP TO YOUR ENEMIES, TOOK MUCH COURAGE, BUT THE HARDEST THING TO DO WAS, IS, TO STAND UP TO YOUR FRIENDS WHEN ONE BELIEVES THEY ARE WRONG..
