How can the Product Link at Amazon be used to Restore the Republic? - Nathaniel Heidenheimer - 07-01-2009

Right now the new book Family of Secrets is becoming the best-selling book dealing with the JFK assassination in a long time.

I wrote a review with a product link to JFK and the Unspeakable by James W. Douglass on the Amazon site. IF THIS REVIEW GETS ENOUGH POSITIVE VOTES IT COULD GO TO THE FRONT PAGE OF THIS NEW VERY POPULAR BOOK AND A LOT OF PEOPLE WILL LEARN OF THE JFK AND THE UNSPEAKABLE THAT WOULD HAVE OTHERWISE NEVER HEARD OF IT.

This is a strategy that we could use to increase sales and knowledge of books that would otherwise remain little known. Think, for example of the excellent book, A Certain Arrogance. If a) this book were mentioned in a product link to a book like Family of Secrets-- for example deepening the analysis of the intelligence connections to the Paine family that Baker's book
covers only superficially-- and b) it was voted positively by a lot of members of this forum it could radically increase the number of people who WILL EVER EVEN HAVE A CHANCE OF BUYING THIS IMPORTANT BOOK.

Note that even if the review is not one of the more popular, it will show up on the side bar of the second page of reviews under the heading of "other books mentioned in these reviews" or some such.

This could be a way of increasing the readership of some less well known books by a factor of ten or more.

Opportuinism in the name of Truth is fair play!

BY THE WAY COULD MEMBERS PLEASE CLICK YES ON MY REVIEW OF FAMILY OF SECRETS? This will put it on page one so more people can learn of JFK and the Unspeakable.

Good idea! Best to use their technology for our purposes. However, the default program of the Amazon computers is Neaderthal. It gives me 'suggestions' based only on the general topic, and is unable to discern my biases and beliefs within those subject headings.

Nate:

I cannot remember if I have ever taken the time to thank you for all that you are doing to promote Jim Douglas' beyond fine book. I only wish that Jim was online so I could email him stuff like this. He is TRULY a man of God, and, to quote our own CD, "on the side of the angels".

I got an e-mail from the Amazon "Community Team" telling me some of my comments were being removed because they were 'spiteful'.

Let's be honest here. The Amazon moderators are probably kids hired to babysit the site. They are probably similar to the international tech support you get when you call in for product support. That they would be allowed to basically delete and censor my posts on the idiotic grounds that they were too spiteful is scary. Those people should read a few of the books available on Amazon on how corporations progressively infringe on free speech.

I suspect what is really happening here is some of the Lone Nuts I regularly confront have learned that if you flag a post you can't honestly answer the mods will delete it without even reading it. It's an effective way of allowing Lone Nut liars to get the upper hand in a comments section debate.

Recently I have also been calling-out some obvious CIA writers on Amazon. I think this might be the real source since the legal weasels at Amazon probably cover their own cowardly asses as their first concern. But honestly, I would be embarrassed to delete posts and warn someone on the basis of being too "spiteful". That rule is so stupid and obviously dumbed-down that it is uncredible by itself. It's being selectively used to discriminate against good political writers and advocates. People who practice free speech for what it was meant for.

The answer to this is to bring this issue out to the public in the media and make Amazon answer for its idiotic "spiteful" rule. But since the media is now part of that corporate reich with the same agenda and methods there's little hope of that happening. Even if you could you are talking about airing it in front of a moronic public that gives praising reviews to O'Reilly.

I hope I wasn't being too spiteful above. Jesus.
