A strange mix....neo-Nazi who grew organic vegetables......would have expected he ate only raw meat. Oh, and yes, certainly a lone nut...they all are, aren't they?!:mexican: Explosion Norway - Danny Jarman - 23-07-2011 Jan Klimkowski Wrote:Breivik was an, ahem, avid fan of Daniel Pipes. Great post Jan and it raises an important point. We will have to wait and see what other info comes out in the coming week... Explosion Norway - Peter Lemkin - 23-07-2011 Magda Hassan Wrote:Thanks for keeping us updated Peter. :humble: Welcome. As a personal aside, I'm in exile in the CZE, but for the last year have been trying desperately to get back to Norway, where I used to live, where my heart is and has always been and which I speak the language of. So far I've not been able to secure a job there...guess too old now...and it being the most expensive country in Europe, unless one makes a living there [great salaries and benefits], a poor person like me can't even step foot there for more than a few weeks. I still have many friends and contacts there, used to live there and never thought I'd leave...and never should have....ah life.... Even this horrible event doesn't deter me. It is by far the most beautiful of European countries, if one likes Nature and the people are very special. Winters are dark and dismal, summers with midnight sun. When I lived there, it really did feel like a safe, sane and distant corner of the Earth. Prices are insane if one is not earning there. One night at a hotel [cheap one] would cost what I earn here in two weeks. A meal is ten times than in Prague. A beer - don't ask.....one can get 15 here for the same price. I must be crazy - or love an empty land with the MOST beautiful Natural Beauty and few humans. Explosion Norway - Charles Drago - 23-07-2011 Pro-Muslim. Anti-Muslim. Pro-Castro. Anti-Castro. Cryptic CD~ I think this lone nut [not] was a real right-winger, but his shooting spree on the island seems more like a mind-control event. Even his surrender to the police with NO resistance, no attempt to defend himself or kill himself is very odd, indeed. As mentioned by Jan, I wonder who was running this guy......they all must be scurrying like cockroaches now.... ...oh, and besides raising organic vegetables for a living, he lived with his mother. :mexican: It does paint a rather odd picture. The term "loner" is always a dead giveaway...that more is going on here than is being reported. A horrible tragedy for the kids and families. Norway of all places. Dawn Explosion Norway - Magda Hassan - 23-07-2011 Saturday, July 23, 2011 - 17:50 - Norway Breivik was a member of a Swedish neo-Nazi internet forum, a group monitoring far-right activity has said. "He created a profile in 2009, with a pseudonym that can be traced back to his email address," Mikael Ekman, a researcher with the Stockholm-based Expo foundation, told AFP news agency. It is not possible to determine when the suspect was last active on the forum, which counts some 22,000 members from across the region, he said. Nordisk, a web forum founded in 2007, describes itself as a portal on the theme of "the Nordic identity, culture and traditions". It hosts discussions on "everything from white power music to political strategies to crush democracy," Ekman wrote in an article published Saturday on the Expo magazine's website. Nordisk's members range from Swedish members of parliament for the far-right Sweden Democrats party to Nazi leaders, the article explained. "What united the members is a critical attitude to the current refugee policy and immigration," it said. Some contributors to the forum have posted comments inciting violence. "Cars parked next to high buildings with fertilising powder + diesel gives a nice effects," one anonymous user said last year on the forum. "The buildings go down like the World Trade Center." "I think it's a but too bad that people do not see this is a war we must wage," the contributor, who Ekman said was not Breivik, added. "Those ... in government, who do not live close to or don't have to experience immigrants' threat in their nice neighbourhoods ... in my world there is no dishonest act one can commit against these monsters," the user wrote. http://blogs.aljazeera.net/liveblog/norway-jul-23-2011-1750 Explosion Norway - Jan Klimkowski - 23-07-2011 The MO is provocative. A massive fertiilzer bomb is exploded outside Norwegian government buildings in Oslo. (Sounds familiar.) Presumably, all available cops and special forces were rushed to Oslo. A gunman (or gunmen) then slaughter the chosen children of the ruling Labour party at an annual summer camp on the island of Utøya. The deathtoll is much higher on the island, where the arrested gunman was dressed in police uniform and many of his victims believed he was there to protect them, before he gunned them down. So, two primary targets? Or was the first target a feint, to draw all available security forces to Oslo, enabling more time for the criminal(s) to conduct a mass slaughter on Utøya? In passing, I note that all the tenured professors of "security" and "terrorism studies", and all the MSM "security correspondents", who spent yesterday spouting on MSM blaming Al-Qaeda or its "affiliates" for waging terror in Europe have not offered a single word of apology for their rush to judgement.....
