Norway: Mass murderer Anders Behring Breivik is anti-racist, pro-homosexual and pro-Israel

Some comments about the ideological background of the Oslo bomber and Utoya shooter

Norwegian sources have identified the man who dressed up as a policeman shot perhaps as many as 80 or more innocent young people on the island of Utoya [Utøya] as the 32 years old Anders Behring Breivik. He is also alleged to stand behind the bomb in Oslo, which so far killed seven people,

The perpetrator was a regular poster on several Norwegian Internet media, notably the blog document.no, which is run by Hans Rustad1), a former left wing journalist. Hans Rustad is Jewish, and extremely pro-Zionist, and warns against islamization, violence and other problems connected with Muslim immigration. Many regular contributors on that blog naturally more or less share his views.

They represent an ideology where the importance of ethnicity is played down or dismissed completely, and the need for the preservation of Western cultural and democratic values is commonly used as the substitute key argument against immigration. Their rhetorics and activities are almost completely focused on Islam and Muslims; other immigrant groups such as Vietnamese, Chinese, non Muslim Africans and other groups are routinely painted as 'harmless', or even as 'positive contributors to society'.

This is the currently most popular strain of the anti-immigration movements in Europe, as represented by Geert Wilders' Freedom Party, the Danish People's Party, the Sweden Democrats, and in Germany the so called 'Pro-movement', of which Pro-Cologne (Pro-Köln) is one of the most active, as well as several recently new established parties with a similar ideology . In England the EDL is connected to this ideology, together with groups such as SIOE and its local chapters, The Danish Free Press Society and their magazine Sappho, and some others. Note that the SIOE uses the slogan: 'Racism is the lowest form of stupidity! Islamophobia is the height of common sense'.

Their American allies are people such as Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer, Daniel Pipes, etc. The dedication to the Zionist cause, and their rejection of classical nationalist ideas such as the importance of ethnicity, sets them apart from the sincere nationalist parties such ad the British National Party, Front National (France), Jobbik (Hungary), and NPD (Germany - and the only clearly National Socialist inspired movement of those mentioned).

Their heroes are mainly Jews such as German Henryk Broder, the French Zionist Bernard Henry Levy, British Melanie Philips, Bernard Lewis, to mention just a few, and many more. The Flemish Nationalists fall somewhere in between, and are mainly traditional Nationalists with no love for the US, Zionism or Israel, who are trying to adapt to a new pro-Zionist image, inspired by the success of Geert Wilders' Freedom Party in Holland, and the Danish People's Party in Denmark.

Members of the pro-Zionist groups and parties often paint their non philosemitic fellow nationalists as Nazis, anti-Semites and racists, copying the rhetorics the left wing PC-brigade uses against themselves, and try to present a more polished image towards the mainstream. They are also much better connected to mainstream politicians than the traditional nationalists, and at times are supported by mainstream newspapers, such as Jyllands-Posten in Denmark, as well as by right wing Jewish groups and individuals. The mainstream press usually judges these groups more favorably then traditional nationalists, who are invariably accused of being 'Nazis'.

Anders Behring Breivik, the Norwegian bomber and gunman also pursued this line of thought:

Caper,

I didn't see that the EDL as it is today is what we would have wanted. But it is essential that the intellectual conservative forces (unofficially) offer political and ideological schooling to our youth between 15 and 25. Who else is to do that?

We cannot despise the young in society and refuse to come closer to them only because they lack ideological training, since it is exactly OUR (culturally conservative intellectuals) responsibility to do so.

Bawer [referring to homosexual anti-islamist Bruce Bawer] is probably not the right person to work as a bridge builder. He is a liberal anti-Jihadist, and in many ways not a culturally conservative. I have my suspicions about him being TOO paranoid [with reference to his homosexuality). It could seem as though he fears that 'cultural conservatives' will become a threat against homosexuals in the future. Therefore he refuses to take his chance to influence them into a positive direction? That seems completely irrational.

It has to be said that many organizations such as VB [probably referring to the Flemish nationalist party Vlaams Belang] needs to go through many 'reforms', before they reach our level.

Anyway, we are not in a position where we can pick and choose our partners. That's why we have to ensure that we influence other culturally conservatives to take our anti-racist pro-homosexual, pro-Israeli line of thought. When this direction has been taken we can take it to the next level.

The consolidation MUST continue, and people must contribute by influencing (in stead of isolating).

The above was translated from this page, where document.no has collected all posts by Anders Behring Breivik. So far it is not possible to read the seperate comments in the original thread; according to an announcement on the website, they changed IT-systems a few days ago, and are working on bringing the comments and the full posts back online. The URL to the article to which this comment belongs is here; maybe it will work later on.

Footnote:

1 I dislike Mr. Hans Rustad for at least one reason: He does not support freedom of speech when it comes to WWII history and the holocaust.

Ps. Rumors

There are rumors on the internet that Anders Behring Breivik is identical with the well known conservative blogger Fjordman. This is denied by people who know him personally, and it is alleged that Anders Behring Breivik during some period has presented himself as Fjordman. More on the Swedish blog Realisten.se.

ANDERS BREIVIK, NORWEGIAN TERROR SUSPECT, ADMIRER OF ISRAEL, AVIGDOR LIEBERMAN

The death toll from the savage attack in Norway has risen to 92 today. Anders Breivik, a radical rightist who posted regularly to a neo-Nazi internet forum, is the only suspect arrested so far in the killings. Electronic Intifada published excerpts of a 1,500 page magnum opus written by Breivik which portray his political philosophy. Here, CNN covers the story of manifesto from a slightly different vantage than the one below. For example, given the killer's use of steroids and testosterone supplements, one speculates on the role they may've played in his rage-filled spree.

Chief among his enemies are Muslims and those non-Muslims who, in his mind, facilitate the triumph of Islam in the west. That's why he specifically attacked the seat of national government and a youth camp sponsored by the ruling Labor Party. The Norwegian terrorist has an obsession with Marxism, and apparently equates the current left of center government with that ideology. Alex Kane notes that the day before the attack on the island camp, it held a Palestine solidarity rally (an event which would've repelled the killer). He viewed the country's leaders as aiding and abetting Muslim terror, and multiculturalism as the poison by which Islam could spread itself throughout the west.

In his writings, he expresses the belief that one glorious act of terror could foment a huge Muslim counter-reaction which would allow a rightist coup to take over both Norwegian and European governments. The only problem with this scenario is that he attacked Norwegian targets and not Muslims ones. That's what is most inexplicable about this incident. Given his hatred of Islam and his belief that it is at the core of the rot that affects the world, why wouldn't he target Norwegian Muslims? That's doubtless something the investigators have asked him during interrogation.

Breivik viewed Israel as an ally in the war against Islam. Alex Kane tweets that he wrote:
"Let's end stupid support for Palestinians…start supporting our cultural cousin, Israel."

He also wrote this:
Cultural conservatives believe Israel has a right to protect itself against Jihad…Sensible people should support Zionism (Israeli nationalism) which is Israel's right to self-defence against Jihad.

More excerpts from his manifesto:
* If one acknowledges that Islam has always oppressed the Jews, one accepts that Israel was a necessary refuge for the Jews fleeing not only the European but also the Islamic variety of anti-Judaism.

* Since the break-up of the Islamic Empire following World War I, various jihads have been fought around the globe by the independent Muslim nations and sub-state jihadist groups. The most sustained effort has been directed against Israel, which has committed the unpardonable sin of rebuilding dar al-harb on land formerly a part of dar al-Islam.

* How can anyone delete the horror of Muslim oppression over Christians and Jews which lasted for centuries and stretched over continents?

* Western Journalists again and again systematically ignore serious Muslim attacks and rather focus on the Jews, [which] only adds to the stockpile of proof that all Western journalists support the EU's Eurabia project, [and] their enemy (based on coverage) is the Israeli…government…

* Were the majority of the German and European Jews disloyal? Yes, at least the so called liberal Jews, similar to the liberal Jews today that oppose nationalism/Zionism and support multiculturalism. Jews that support multiculturalism today are as much of a threat to Israel and Zionism (Israeli nationalism) as they are to us. So let us fight together with Israel, with our Zionist brothers against all anti-Zionists, against all cultural Marxists/multiculturalists….So, are the current Jews in Europe and US disloyal? The multiculturalist (nation-wrecking) Jews ARE, while the conservative Jews ARE NOT. Aprox. 75% of European/US Jews support multiculturalism while aprox. 50% of Israeli Jews does the same. This shows very clearly that we must embrace the remaining loyal Jews as brothers rather than repeating the mistake of the NSDAP. Whenever I discuss the Middle East issue with a national socialist he presents the anti-Israeli and pro-Palestine argument. He always seem unaware of the fact that his propaganda is hurting Israeli nationalists (who want to deport the Muslims from Israel) and that he is in fact helping the Israeli cultural Marxists/multiculturalists with his argumentation.

Ali Abunimah notes he especially admires Avigdor Lieberman and his Yisrael Beitenu Party. Outside Israel, he also follows the writing of Pam Geller, Robert Spencer (referenced 46 times in the Breivik manifesto) and Daniel Pipes (11 times). Yesterday, I quoted a Norwegian website which claimed that Breivik had identified himself as Fjordman, a regular contributor to the anti-jihadi blogs mentioned above. Geller has denied a connection, as has Gates of Vienna, and it's possible they are right. I haven't seen definitive evidence that either proves Breivik and Fjordman are the same or that they aren't. I will say though that Breivik's writings under his own name show a much greater predilection toward violence; Fjordman's, while equally radical, seem satisfied to remain in the realm of political theory, rather than action.

But even if they are not one and the same, the fact that Breivik's intellectual-political philosophy is inspired by each of them is a sign of the cesspool of hate found there. Just as settler rabbis held a pulsa di nura excommunicating Yitzhak Rabin before his assassination; just as Bibi Netanyahu fired up a crowd featuring pictures of Yitzhak Rabin dressed in an SS uniform shortly before the assassination, so did the intellectual content of these websites shape the world-view of the assassin.

I do not want to even think about what I would do if someone who'd praised or linked favorably to my work went on a murderous spree. I'd like to think that the very nature of my beliefs would militate against violence. But I sure as hell know I wouldn't do what Geller's done, which is to completely avoid any serious deliberation or reflection on the issue. She's not responsible she writes in a post about mass murder which is rather inappropriately titled, Heads Explode. Rather "the left" is responsible for associating her in any way with the violence:

This is war. And the left is vicious, amoral and depraved. They mean to win, and that is the only way they know how.

Indeed, Anders Breivik couldn't have put it any better himself. As for me, I'd certainly denounce the deed and its author if they praised me, something I doubt you'll hear from the keyboards of Pam Geller, Spencer or Pipes.

To give you an impression of the depths of self-delusion such pathological types are capable of, note this self-portrait:

I consider myself to be a laid back type and quite tolerant on most issues. Due to the fact that I have been exposed to decades of multicultural indoctrination I feel a need to emphasise that I am not in fact a racist and never have been.

The "laid back, quite tolerant" mass murderer. A new personality type in the annals of deviant psychology.

GILAD ATZMON: WAS THE MASSACRE IN NORWAY A REACTION TO BDS?
SUNDAY, JULY 24, 2011 AT 11:47AM GILAD ATZMON

I learned last night from an Israeli online journal, that two days before the Utoya Island massacre, AUF's (Labour Party's youth movement) leader Eskil Pedersen gave an interview to the Dagbladet, Norway's second largest tabloid newspaper, in which he unveiled what he thinks of Israel.

In the course of the interview, Pedersen stated that he "believes the time has come for more drastic measures against Israel, and (that he) wants the Foreign Minister to impose an economic boycott against the country."

Pederson went on to say, "The peace process goes nowhere, and though the whole world expect Israel to comply, they do not. We in Labour Youth will have a unilateral economic embargo of Israel from the Norwegian side."

The AUF Labour Party Youth Movement have been devoted promoters of the Israel Boycott campaign, The Dagbladet newspaper reporting that "The AUF has long been a supporter of an international boycott of Israel, but the decision at the last congress, demands that Norway imposes a unilateral economic embargo on the country and it must be stricter than before."

"I acknowledge that this is a drastic measure", stated Pedersen, "but I think it gives a clear indication that we are tired of Israel's behaviour, quite simply".

Yesterday we also learned that mass-murderer Anders Behring Breivik was openly enthusiastic about Israel. According to a variety of internet outlets, Behring Breivik was a regular poster on several Norwegian internet sites, notably the blog document.no, which is run by Hans Rustad, a former left-wing journalist. Hans Rustad is Jewish, extremely pro-Zionist, and warns against Islam-isation', violence, and other social problems he assumes to be connected with Muslim immigration.

Alongside the UK's infamously Islamophobic Harry's Place and other Jewish pro-war Zionist blogs, the observant amongst us are becoming more and more aware of an increasingly pervasive trend of Jerusalemite internet journals that -- ostensibly like to give the impression of rallying for the preservation of Western culture,' and of standing up for democratic values'. For the most obvious of reasons, these blog pages are almost exclusively focused on the problem of Islam,' and on Muslim migrants' troubled and reactionary' communities and politics, whilst all the while, simultaneously, relentlessly and forcefully propounding a propagandistic Zionist agenda. Interestingly enough, other immigrants are routinely depicted on these blog pages as being 'harmless', or as 'positive contributors to society' -- you won't find Hans Rustad or Harry Place criticising the Jewish Lobbies, the Lord Levy's or the Russian Oligarchs' disastrous impact on Western culture' or on democratic values' any time soon.

Gordon Duff wrote yesterday in "Veterans Today" that the "car bombing carries the signature of an intelligence agency. Nobody else bothers with such things."

And indeed it is after all, pretty clear that a car bomb of such magnitude, and an operation of such sophistication is not exactly something a layman can put together with such apparent ease: it would surely take some specialist knowledge, and the question here is, who could provide such knowledge, and such a vast amount of lethal explosives?

I am not in a position at present to firmly point a finger at Israel, its agents, or its sayanim -- but assembling the information together, and considering all possibilities may suggest that Anders Behring Breivik might indeed, have been a Sabbath Goy.

Within its Judaic mundane-societal context, the Sabbath Goy is simply there to accomplish some minor tasks the Jews cannot undertake during the Sabbath. But within the Zion-ised reality we tragically enough live in, the Sabbath Goy kills for the Jewish state. He may even do it voluntarily.

Being an admirer of Israel, Behring Breivik does appear to have treated his fellow countrymen in the same way that the IDF treats Palestinians.

Devastatingly enough, in Israel, Behring Breivik found a few enthusiastic followers who praised his action against the Norwegian youth. In the Hebrew article that reported about the AUF camp being pro Palestinian and supportive of the Israel Boycott Campaign, I found the following comments amongst other supports for the massacre:

24. "Oslo criminals paid"

26. "It's stupidity and evil not to desire death for those who call to boycott Israel.'

41. "Hitler Youth members killed in the bombing of Germany were also innocent. Let us all cry about the terrible evil bombardment carried out by the Allied…We have a bunch of haters of Israel meeting in a country that hates Israel in a conference that endorses the boycott.. So it's not okay, not nice, really a tragedy for families, and we condemn the act itself, but to cry about it? Come on. We Jews are not Christians. In the Jewish religion there is no obligation to love or mourn for the enemy."

The full facts of the Norwegian tragedy are, as yet, unknown, but the message should by now be transparently and urgently clear to all of us: Western intelligence agencies must immediately crackdown on Israeli and Zionist operators in our midst, and regarding the terrible events of the weekend, it must be made absolutely clear who it was that spread such hate and promoted such terror, and for what exact reasons.

Anders Behring Breivik Was in Contact With EDL (Yiddish Defense League)

http://islamversuseurope.blogspot.com/2011/07/anders-behring-breivik-w...

I'm sure the Guardian will love this. This is a comment Anders Behring Breivik posted on document.no on 6 December 2009. In it he calls for the formation of a Norwegian EDL. More of his comments can be read in this post.
I strongly doubt that your theory is correct. The whole conflict between GDP and EDL started with a change of leadership in the EDL for a few months ago. They threw out the racist and denounced the BNP. They chose instead SIOE's ideological basis that is more or less mainstream view on the right side in Western Europe now (Vienna School of Thought).

Nick was very offended and began to demonize the EDL. Although they are now attacking each other as they compete not at all as these are two quite different fronts. 90% of all votes in the EDL continued GDP (Since this is the only alternative to multikulti in the UK) and 90% of GDP supports EDL regardless of what Nick had to think.

Second, Labour governs intelligence service. They had never in his life supported the EDL as these create a lot of positive attention for the cultural conservative movement in the UK.

I have on some occasions discussed with SIOE and EDL and recommended them to use conscious strategies.

The tactics of the EDL is now out to "entice" an overreaction from Jihad Youth / Extreme-Marxists something they have succeeded several times already. Over The reaction has been repeatedly shown on the news which has booster EDLs ranks high. This has also benefited GDP. WinWin for both.

But I must say I am very impressed with how quickly they have grown but this has to do with smart tactical choice by management.

EDL is an example and a Norwegian version is the only way to prevent Flash / SOS to harass Norwegian cultural conservatives from other fronts. Creating a Norwegian EDL should be No. 3 on the agenda after we have started up a cultural conservative newspaper with national distribution.

The agenda of the Norwegian cultural conservative movement over the next 5 years are therefore:

1. Newspaper with national distribution
2. Working for the control of several NGOs
3. Norwegian EDL

Canada clamps down on Israel criticism.

July 22, 2011

Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, a staunch supporter of Israeli policy, has described criticism of Israeli as a form of "new anti-Semitism". [EPA]
Nearly two years after the first hearings were held in Ottawa, the Canadian Parliamentary Committee to Combat Anti-Semitism (CPCCA) released a detailed report on July 7 that found that anti-Semitism is on the rise in Canada, especially on university campuses.

While the CPCCA's final report does contain some cases of real anti-Semitism, the committee has provided little evidence that anti-Semitism has actually increased in Canada in recent years. Instead, it has focused a disproportionate amount of effort and resources on what it calls a so-called "new anti-Semitism": criticism of Israel.

Indeed, the real purpose of the CPCCA committee seems to be to stifle critiques of Israeli policy and disrupt pro-Palestinian solidarity organizing in Canada, including, most notably, Israeli Apartheid Week events. Many of the CPCCA's findings, therefore, must be rejected as both an attack on freedom of speech and freedom of protest, and as recklessly undermining the fight against real instances of anti-Semitism.

The CPCCA and its findings

The Canadian Parliamentary Committee to Combat Anti-Semitism (CPCCA) was born out of a conference held in London in February 2009 by the Inter-Parliamentary Committee for Combating Anti-Semitism. Formed in March 2009 and not directly linked to the Canadian government, or to any NGO or advocacy group, the CPCCA included 22 Canadian Parliament members from across party lines. Former Liberal MP Mario Silva chaired the Inquiry Panel and Conservative MP Scott Reid led the Steering Committee.

Between November 2009 and January 2010, the CPCCA held ten separate hearings during which time representatives of various non-governmental organizations, religious institutions, police departments and Canadian and Israeli universities presented papers meant to assess the level of anti-Semitism in Canada. While groups critical of Israel were denied the chance to address the committee, major Zionist organizations like B'nai Brith Canada, Friends of the Simon Wiesenthal Center for Holocaust Studies, and the Canadian Jewish Congress were welcomed.

"Much of today's anti-Semitism manifests in anti-Israel agitation around boycotts, divestment and sanctions," said Avi Benlolo, President and CEO of the Friends of the Simon Wiesenthal Center for Holocaust Studies, during a hearing in November 2009. "It deploys an unfair double standard against the Jewish state, singling out of Israel alone for one-sided, harsh criticism and calls for punitive actions."

Throughout the consultation process, the CPCCA regularly focused on Canadian university campuses, which were routinely described as hotbeds of anti-Semitism, where Jewish students or students with pro-Israel leanings are often intimidated and threatened. This accusation was made repeatedly, and included in the CPCCA's final report, despite the fact that Dr. Fred Lowy, President Emeritus of Concordia University in Montreal, stated in his address to the CPCCA that, "by and large, Canadian campuses are safe and are not hotbeds of anti-Semitism of any kind".

In its final report, the CPCCA made about two dozen recommendations on how best to fight anti-Semitism in Canada. While the report states that "criticism of Israel is not anti-Semitic, and saying so is wrong", it also found that "singling Israel out for selective condemnation and opprobrium … is discriminatory and hateful" and many of its recommendations deal with combating this "new anti-Semitism".

A major recommendation issued by the CPCCA was that the Canadian government should promote the working definition of anti-Semitism used by The European Union Monitoring Centre on Racism and Xenophobia (EUMC). This definition categorizes "applying double standards by requiring of [Israel] a behavior not expected or demanded of any other democratic nation" as anti-Semitic.

In other words, the CPCCA is supporting a definition whereby individuals who focus their attention on Israeli human rights violations, yet don't level an equal amount of condemnation on other states for their human rights violations, can be labeled as anti-Semitic. This is obviously problematic since Palestine solidarity activists - like any other people have commitments that make it impossible to engage with every issue they are otherwise interested in. They shouldn't be labeled as anti-Semitic due to their inability to participate in every single human rights struggle happening around the world.

Another dangerous recommendation made by the CPCCA was that Canadian university administrators should condemn "discourse, events and speakers which are untrue, harmful, or not in the interest of academic discourse, including Israeli Apartheid Week". Even the use of the word "apartheid" in relation to Israel is anti-Semitic, the CPCCA found, since it amounts to the "denial of the Jewish people their right to self- determination … by claiming that the existence of a State of Israel is a racist endeavor".

This clearly violates freedom of speech and an open exchange of ideas at Canadian universities, and also unfairly and inaccurate labels Israeli Apartheid Week (IAW) as anti-Semitic. In reality, IAW has since 2005 brought together respected activists, academics, journalists and cultural figures from around the world, including Judith Butler, Ronnie Kasrils, Noam Chomsky and Ali Abunimah, among others, to openly discuss ideas related to Israel/Palestine.

IAW provides an educational space for understanding Israel's apartheid policies - as evidenced, for example, through the separate legal systems used by Israelis and Palestinians living in the occupied West Bank or the discriminatory land ownership laws operating inside Israel - and supports the growing campaign for boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS), which aims to non-violently pressure Israel to respect international law. It is far from the "uniformly well-organized, aggressive [campaign] designed to make the Jewish state and its supporters pariahs" the CPCCA report makes it out to be.

The CPCCA also recommended that the Canadian Committee of Foreign Affairs undertake a study on the United Nations Human Rights Council, "particularly regarding its over-emphasis of alleged human rights abuses by Israel, while ignoring flagrant human rights abuses of other member states".

This clearly demonstrates how the committee has confounded anti-Semitism with criticism of Israel, and is prepared to levy dubious suspicions against UN bodies and tarnish Canada's international standing in the process.

In a statement released on July 8, Thomas Woodley, President of Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East (CJPME), said that the CPCCA's recommendations, "if implemented, will inhibit public discussion of Israel's conduct".

"CJPME believes that conclusions and recommendations generated by a process in which the same body the CPCCA - is prosecutor, jury, and judge, are not credible. Although a few of the witnesses recounted incidents that were indeed indicative of genuine anti-Semitism, many were complaining about merely being exposed to criticism of the Israel's conduct," the CJPME press release stated.

Independent Jewish Voices (IJV) Canada also criticized the committee, stating that "the CPCCA's goal is to criminalize criticism of Israel and Zionism, not to hold impartial hearings. Therefore, we oppose the CPCCA as an ideologically biased organization with an agenda that will harm free speech and human rights activity in Canada. We oppose the CPCCA's Orwellian distortion of anti-Semitism. It is a danger to both Canadian liberties and to the genuine and necessary fight against anti-Semitism."

Reflection of official Canadian policy

While labeling critics of Israeli policy as anti-Semitic is nothing new, the level at which this accusation is now being used in Canadian discourse must be seen as a reflection of the Canadian government's official and current policy on the Middle East.

"When Israel, the only country in the world whose very existence is under attack, is consistently and conspicuously singled out for condemnation, I believe we are morally obligated to take a stand. Demonization, double standards, de-legitimization, the three D's, it is the responsibility of us all to stand up to them," Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper said in 2010 at the Ottawa Conference on Combating Anti-Semitism, which was supported by the CPCCA. Harper added:

"Harnessing disparate anti-American, anti-Semitic and anti-Western ideologies, it targets the Jewish people by targeting the Jewish homeland, Israel, as the source of injustice and conflict in the world and uses, perversely, the language of human rights to do so. We must be relentless in exposing this new anti-Semitism for what it is."
Under Harper, Canada has routinely defended Israeli intransigence and disregard for international law and the human rights of the Palestinian people under its control. In return, trade cooperation and military and security technologies ties have been strengthened between the two states.

In May of this year, it was reported that Harper was adamantly opposed to making any reference to the 1967 borders in a G8 summit statement calling for renewed Israeli-Palestinian negotiations. Far-right Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman thanked Harper for his position, and stated, "Canada is a true friend of Israel".

In 2010, Canada announced it would discontinue its financial contributions to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), the organization that provides support and resources to approximately 4.7m registered Palestinian refugees in Jordan, Lebanon, Syria and the occupied Palestinian territories, and funnel the money into greater policing and security institutions run by the un-elected and corrupt Palestinian Authority leadership instead.

In January 2009, as the Israeli army continued its disproportionate attack on the besieged civilian population in Gaza that left 1,400 Palestinians dead in the span of three weeks, Canada was the only country out of 47 that voted against a motion at the United Nations Human Rights Council condemning the Israeli violence.
In addition to providing diplomatic cover for Israel, the Canadian government has attacked and cut funding to various non-governmental organizations working on issues related to Israel/Palestine, including Kairos Churches and Alternatives International.

Canadian Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism Jason Kenney, who led the formation of the Canadian Parliamentary Committee to Combat Anti-Semitism (CPCCA) and is an ex-officio member, has also repeatedly alleged that the Canadian Arab Federation promotes anti-Semitism and hatred. While Kenney never backed up these claims, the Canadian Arab Federation's contracts with the government - which helped finance language programs for Toronto-area immigrants (the majority of whom are of Chinese origin) - were not renewed in 2009.

Undermining the fight against real anti-Semitism

Anti-Semitism, like all other forms of racism, is appalling and must be strongly and unequivocally condemned.
But by defining legitimate criticism of Israeli policy and pro-Palestinian activism in Canada as anti-Semitic, the CPCCA is not only threatening free speech and freedom of protest, but it is undermining the fight against real cases of anti-Semitism and weakening the seriousness with which such cases should be dealt.

This is something that Canadians, and people everywhere, should be adamantly against.

In yet another example of how almost every major terror event is accompanied by a security drill focused around the same scenario, Oslo police were conducting a bombing exercise at a location near the Oslo Opera House just 48 hours before a terrorist blast hit a government building in the Norwegian capital.

According to the translated version of an Aftenposten report, "Anti-terror police fired explosive charges at a training center in Oslo, two hundred meters from the Opera, but forgot to notify the public."

Using the internet to build a 'legend'
Back in the day, building a 'legend' was complicated. Hell, you sometimes had to hand out leaflets on the streets of New Orleans. Now all you have to do is have a blog (that Castro sure is a great guy!), and, perhaps, a Kaczynski-style manifesto. All I'm saying is, it is great to use the internet to find out what a guy's motives are, but the internet can be easily used to deceive. The professional Islamophobes rushed to judgment on Friday; let's not make the same mistake on Sunday.

A puzzling day in Norway
"Gunman's background puzzles police in Norway" Puzzles? It is because he is not a 'terrorist'. All that racial profiling, wasted.

A lot of the usual suspect newspapers were saved embarrassing themselves due to time zones and publication deadlines. Others were not so lucky. Of course the bloggers could make utter fools of themselves.

As usual, the media drags the usual 'terrorism' 'experts' out from the rocks under which they usually hide to expound in learned detail, on the basis of absolutely no evidence whatever, what obscure CIA asset branch of 'al Qaeda' must be responsible. It is pure racism, and wouldn't be tolerated against any other identifiable group.

We're used to some fairly pathetic attacks, but this guy is a champ. Blows up a building, and then for an encore kills over 80 people. With a rifle? By himself? Hmm.

"Norway To Back Palestinian State":
"The all-too coincidential timing of this political event with Friday's tragic bombing and shooting by a Christian Zionist has been mostly ignored by mainstream media."

From Lillehammer 1973 to Oslo 2011:
Murders in Norway and the Israel Connection

By Richard Edmondson

A large portion of the blogosphere seems alight at present over the possibility that the terrorist attack in Norway is connected in some way to Israel. Many are noting, for example, that Anders Behring Breivik, the man implicated in the spree of violence that killed at least 92 people, held some very outwardly-expressed pro-Israel viewswhile others are speculating the mayhem that shook the Scandinavian country last week may even have been a false-flag attack carried out by the Mossad, perhaps not unlike 9/11. Here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, and here are but a few examples of writers and bloggers exploring the Israeli element in the terror-tragedy of July 22. Additionally, at one of the sites linked above, an anonymous commenter remarks, "This is a Mossad hit. Brevik is the patsyjust like OBL was."

So far as I know, there is no substantial evidence at this time to indicate Mossad collusion in the Oslo/Utoya rampagesat least nowhere near the voluminous body of evidence attesting Israeli involvement in 9/11. But should such documentation begin to emerge, it would not be the first Mossad operation to have occurred on Norwegian soil. In 1973, a Mossad assassination team carried out a hit in the town of Lillehammer, Norway. Their target was Ali Hassan Salameh, a Palestinian alleged to have played a leading role in the killing of Israeli athletes the year before at the Munich Olympics, but the assassins committed a major blunder. Instead of killing Salameh, they mistakenly shot dead a Morrocan named Ahmed Bouchiki as he walked home from a cinema with his pregnant wife.

Bouchiki at the time was working as a waiter in Lillehammer, a town roughly 100 km north of Oslo. He was innocent of any crime. His misfortune was bearing a physical resemblance to Salameh. Accounts of the incident can be found here, here, and here. The document at the latter link was produced as a paper for the U.S. Marine Corps Command and Staff College in 1995:

The target (Bouchiki) and female companion exited the movie at approximately 2235 hours and took a bus to an area just a "short walk" from their flat. As they began their walk from the bus stop to the flat, two members of the action team exited a Mazda and began firing into the man believed to be Salameh with Baretta .22 caliber pistols. The pregnant woman crouched over the dying man, screaming as the team escaped from the scene. Individuals in the neighborhood notified the police, who arrived at the scene within the next few minutes. The team dropped the Mazda at a predesignated point and transferred to a Peugeot rented from a Scandinavian rental company to transport them out of Lillehammer.

A public trial resulted in five convictionsDan Arbel, Marrianne Gladnikoff, Yigal Zigal, Abraham Gehmer, and Zwi Steinbergand one acquittal, Michael Dorf. However, as so often seems the case with Israelis who commit crimes in foreign countries, all were soon released and returned to Israel. Arbel, who maintained dual Danish-Israeli citizenship, is believed today to be living in Herzliya.

The murder/assassination of Bouchiki took place on July 21, 1973exactly 38 years and one day before last week's attacks in Oslo and Utoya. Another very strange confluence of dates has been pointed out by Eileen Fleming, who observes that the atrocity of last Friday occurred "65 years to the very day" after the blowing up of the King David Hotel in Jerusalem…on July 22, 1946. That attack was perpetrated by the Jewish terror group Irgun and came two years prior to the assassination of a Swedish diplomat, Folke Bernadotte, by another Jewish terror organization, the Stern Gang.

A number of other interesting "coincidences" seem to part of the picture as well. On Monday, July 18, Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas visited Oslo, at which time it was announced by Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Store that Norway stands ready to recognize a Palestinian state. Then on Thursday, 24 hours before the terrorist attack, Store paid a visit to the youth camp at Utoya Island, the very site of the massacre that was to begin 24 hours later. The official was met by a spirited group of politically conscious young people who called for the boycott of Israel.

"The Palestinians must have their own state, the occupation must end, the wall must be demolished and it must happen now," Store is reported to have told the cheering audience.

Furthermore, the rabid right in Israel seems to have been cognizant of the political attitudes in the Scandinavian country. This from Gilad Atzmon:

It would seem, then, the Old Testament predilection for wrath and vengeance is very much alive today in Israelas it was also in 1973. The Mossad operation that resulted in Bouchiki's death was called Operation Wrath of God.

And finally also on the subject of Israeli animosity towards Norway, it would additionally appear that an Israeli writer by the name of Itamar Eichner has penned an article entitled Israel: Norway inciting against us. The piece mentions Norwegian support for two artistic endeavorsa play entitled "Gaza Monologues" and a film documentary entitled "Tears for Gaza"as well as a book recently published by two Norwegian doctors who were in Gaza during Operation Cast Lead:

The Israeli Embassy in Norway strongly protested the authorities' involvement in Israel's demonization. "The open and official Norwegian policy talks about understanding and reconciliation," a senior Israeli official said Sunday evening, "but ever since the war in Gaza, Norway has become a superpower in terms of exporting multimedia aimed at de-legitimizing Israel, while using the Norwegian taxpayer funds for creating and transporting this multimedia."

Of course, none of this seems to be getting much mention in the mainstream media. While almost all news outlets have identified Breivik as "right-wing fundamentalist Christian," or words to that effect, most have omitted any mention of his strongly pro-Israel views.
