"The United States has also engaged in false flag terrorist attacks, killing innocent civilians then blaming the attacks on enemy country or group, often by planting evidence. As Daniel Ganser has shown in his recent book "NATO's Secret Armies", NATO, guided by the CIA and the Pentagon, arranged many such attacks (false flag terrorist attacks) in western European countries during the cold war in which hundreds of people were killed by bombs or hooded men with shotguns. These attacks were successfully blamed on communists or other leftists (like Moammar Gadhafi?) to discredit them in the eyes of the voting public." David Ray Griffin, 2010

In other news, the people of America have reported in to the folks at Gallop with the highest percentage of people who hold a negative view of the federal government since Gallop began asking the question of them in Aug of 2003.The previous high was in 2008 and that means that more people hold a negative view toward the current government than they did in the last year of the Bush administration when they were pushing to give nearly a trillion dollars to the banks that deliberately destroyed the economy.

"A total of 63 percent said they had a negative view of the federal government, including 34 percent who said they had a somewhat negative view and 29 percent who said they had a very negative view.

… The previous high for the percentage of Americans telling Gallup they had a negative view of the federal government was 60 percentin a survey conducted Aug. 7-10, 2008. At that time, 34 percent said they had a somewhat negative view of the federal government and 26 percent said they had a very negative view.." CNS News

I guess the Juan Cole types have their work cut out for them trying to gin up some kind of "progressive" rationalization for Pax Americana's new Operation Gladio campaign in the Middle East and Africa. Apparently the sheep aren't buying it anymore. Though I doubt that pointing out these facts makes me "trendy" in any stretch of the imagination. I thought it just made me a journalist.
