At the same rant and rave Veterans Today web site that posted Prof. Fetzer's Onion article, Allen L. Rolan writes a provocative article The First American Coup / JFK Assassination

John F Kennedy still calls out from his grave for justice. The first violent overthrow or coup of the U.S. Government occurred with the assassination of JFK in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963. On that day, the power was passed from the choice of the people to a tin pot dictator from Texas, Lyndon B Johnson, who gave the Pentagon, the CIA, the oil industry, and the banks everything they wanted ~ and that game still continues today:

You can't fully understand what is happening now in America until you fully understand what happened 48 years ago in Dallas, Texas ~ when the slick and well orchestrated assassination of a sitting president, John F Kennedy, was accomplished in broad daylight. The power was then handed over to the CIA, Military Industrial Complex, the Pentagon, Big Oil and the Banks and their retainer was Lyndon B Johnson ~ who later died with JFK's blood on his hands.

James W. Douglass. (2008). JFK And The Unspeakable: Why He Died And Why It Matters. New York: Simon & Schuster. Pg. 384 385. This quote is anexcerptfrom the Afterword, written on January 6, 2010, that appears in the paperback version of the book."At the height of the Cold War, JFK risked committing the greatest crime in human history: starting a nuclear war. Horrified by the specter of nuclear annihilation, Kennedy gradually turned away from his long-held Cold Warrior beliefs and toward a policy of lasting peace.

But to the military and intelligence agencies in the United States, who were committed to winning the Cold War at any cost, Kennedy's change of heart was a direct threat to their power and influence. Once these dark "Unspeakable" forces recognized that Kennedy's interests were in direct opposition to their own, they tagged him as a dangerous traitor, plotted his assassination, and orchestrated the subsequent cover-up....

BK: He goes on some more, and you can follow him if you want to, but at the end he has a link to a video that blames LBJ for the assassination, but there are also some links to some other obscure JFK videos, including this one, which is done in the old fashioned movie theater newsreal style, but clearly can't be.

It is labeled:

July 24, 1963, the Washington Post reports that the US Air Force spent over $5,000 refurbishing a room at Otis Air Force Base for use as Mrs Kennedy's maternity suite."

July 25, 1963. President Kennedy phones an Air Force General to express his displeasure with the Post's story.

General: Yes sir.

JFK:…that Air Force has caused itself more grief with that silly bastard…Did you see the Post this morning?

General:Yes sir, I'm looking at it.

JFK: Did you see that fella's picture by the bed. And did you see that furniture they bought from Jordan Marsh? What the hell did they allow reporters in there for? Are they crazy up there? Now you know what's going to do…any Congressmanis going to get up and they'll say, "If they can throw away $5,000 on this, lets cut them another billion dollars. You just sank the Air Force budget. They're crazy up there. Are they crazy? That silly bastard with his picture next to the bed. I want to find out who paid for that furniture and I want itto go back to Jordan Marsh. Then I want that fellow's incompetent who had his picture taken next to Mrs. Kennedy's bed, if that's what it is. He's just a silly bastard. I wouldn't have him running a Cat House. I hope they're not all incompitant. Is that the way they are throwing money around over there. You better look into it, especially after you told me it wouldn't cost a cent.

General: Well….this is obviously

JFK: Well this is obviously a fuckup.

I'd like to know a few things. For one, who was the general that JFK is talking to?

Can anyone read the newspaper photo caption that should identify the Air Force officer?
I wonder who he is and what ever happened to that guy?

Also, the story that accompanies the photo reads something like: "Delivery Room Valor Rewarded" - and the story is datelined Mount Clemmens, which is a medical center in Michigan, from where apparently two nurses have been reassigned to Otis to care for Mrs. Kennedy - a Maj. Ruth Johnson and a Capt. Patricia Kaffa? "in case there are any complications." And there were.

Less than a month later, JFK is called for an emergency and goes from DC Otis AFB in a jet that doesn't have the communications equipment that AF1 has, the only time a sitting president was said to have been out of touch in such a way (at least until 9/11). His wife gave birth to Patrick, who dies two days later.
Then when the President has to fly to Texas for the political fundraisers, he needs a legitimate non-political excuse to go there and he so he visits the Medical facilities at Fort Hood, Texas, where he goes out of his way to visit the new incubator and oxygen tents they have developed, and mentions that they might have been able to use them to save his late son Patrick.

The Air Force were making sure they had such fine accommodation at Otis, and they seemed to have expected her at Bethesda's 17th floor suite too.

he was talking to the Air Force Press Officer....see video # 1 JFK A Presidency Revealed..about 3/4rs through...though he calls whomever GENERAL; McHUGH ?? above is what is reported on Revealed, but here it the video of the tape, and he does say General..Phone Call: JFK Cursing on Phone
