Opinions on Roscoe White story? - Edwin Ortiz - 19-02-2012 I would like to get any opinions on the roscoe white story...has it been clearly discredited and has any researcher found any new info ...thanks for reply Opinions on Roscoe White story? - Peter Lemkin - 19-02-2012 Edwin Ortiz Wrote:I would like to get any opinions on the roscoe white story...has it been clearly discredited and has any researcher have any new info ...thanks for reply RW was very involved - and later killed for his involvment to assure his silence, IMHO- however, many false trails were put down for researchers to follow and to date only the mainly false trails have been followed.....I know a bit more, but will not say here, and certainly not to some entity totally unknown to me and the Forum. There are some suspected deaths and death threats from those who investigated even the false or partially false trails laid down - likely for fear the real trail might be found. Who are you and why do you come here to ask? Likely nothing you'd say will get me to say more, other than to possibly expand on the false trails and who pursued them, but this you can look up on the internet. I believe this is one of those [shall we say] 'touchy' areas. There are a few others. If you mean this Forum ill, you'll likely make hay out of my saying no more...which may well expose you. Perhaps other here have information they feel they can express more openly. Something about your first post being just a question, with no introduction to the material nor to you has my antenna up...way, way up. Opinions on Roscoe White story? - Edwin Ortiz - 19-02-2012 Well.i hold no secrets but i am just a student of the jfk assassination for quite a number of years..i used to be on the education forum until they had a bad hacking and they lost my id ...havnt been able to reregister for quite a while..i spoke with dr walt brown a few years ago at his home ..and he was most gracious ..though i see this forum and dr brown have had bit of a falling out..i also know andy Winiarczyk from the last hurrah book store...i visited him a few years ago though i havnt kept in touch with him maybe he forgot ...nice guy....i have also visited dallas and went to a lancer jfk conference in 2007..i took a tour of the jfk ass. sites from ken holmes jr which was fascinating,..I got to chat with larry hancock and met john kelin when the praise for a future generation book was released ...please feel free to aim me at eddieo396 or email me at watch396@gmail.com if you wish more info about me ...the reason i ask about roscoe white is i happen to be reading the treachery in dallas book (which is great) and i ran into the roscoe white story and their seems to be a shortage of info on concluding whether the story is valid or a total red herring ...my opinions on the assassination are that it was a conspiracy ...and well the rest is like a mystery wrapped in a riddle inside an enigma...as the inimitable joe pesci aka david ferrie ranted...lol..... Opinions on Roscoe White story? - Jan Klimkowski - 19-02-2012 Edwin - welcome to DPF. Please be aware that the Deep Politics Forum and the research community as a whole has recently been subject to enemy manoeuvres. Infiltrators will be exposed and banished. Truth seekers will be welcomed and embraced. Please ask away, and we'll see where the discussion takes us. In this spirit, here are two offerings: Tosh Plumlee interviewed in 1992: Quote:Q: Did you know Roscoe White? Ray and Mary LaFontaine, Oswald Talked - The New Evidence in the JFK Assassination? (1996) Quote:In August-September 1957 Roscoe, also a Marine, took the same boat to Japan as Lee Harvey Oswald. Contrary to the claims of amateur sleuths Gary Mack and David Perry of Dallas, the connections between the two did not end there. In November of the same year, both White and Oswald ended up in Subic Bay, the Philippines, and, later, off the coast of Indonesia as part of a secret CIA invasion force planned for that island nation. Roscoe White wrote of the matter to his wife Geneva, in letters that survive, complete with their naval-vessel postmarks. Oswald talked with Priscilla McMillan about the incident, as she testified to Warren investigators. The "maneuvers" were protracted; the Marines did not return to their original assignments for several months. Did White, Oswald, both, or neither become trained intelligence assets during this clandestine action?" Opinions on Roscoe White story? - Peter Lemkin - 19-02-2012 I did some searching around the internet and I think my alarm went off too quickly. However, it is odd [to me] to just enter a Forum without so much as introducing yourself or your interests or 'position'. Whatever. Yes, all Jan wrote above is likely so, but there is more and some day it will come out. Jack White knows much about this matter, but his health is still much too bad for him to be active on the internet just now, sadly. Several of the people who set up the RW press conferences died soon afterwards. One who didn't was begged by his wife to quit JFK research all together and he has. As I said, it may well be one of those 'sensitive' topics....to the keepers of the ongoing cover-up and Big Lie. NB - yes, it was I who had the 'falling out' with Walt Brown [really he with me] over Plumlee and Seiwell [and related] data he has, but seems not to want to share, at any price or trade or deal or....... I can't give you a definitive answer about Roscoe White, but I can relate what little I know of him. You may have heard of Beverly Oliver, a singer at a nightclub next door to Jack Ruby's Carousel Club. She's been referred to by some as the "Babuska Lady" who was in Dealey Plaza on Nov. 22, 1963, standing on the other side of Elm Street opposite to the Grassy Knoll. After President Kennedy was shot in the forehead, she and others rushed across the street and up the Grassy Knoll. There she saw "Geneva White's husband," as she states in her book, NIGHTMARE IN DALLAS. Geneva White worked for Jack Ruby, as a hostess or bartender (?) and was married to Roscoe White, and Beverly knew Geneva as she knew most of the women at the Carousel Club from visiting there when she was not peforming at her own nightclub. Roscoe White had been hired by the Dallas Police Department as a clerk-photographer in October, 1963, and was in training to become a police officer, which he did a year or so later. However, when Beverly saw him, he was wearing a policeman's uniform (which he had no right to wear, not being a police officer yet), with no policeman's hat, and with no gun or holster which all officer's wore. I mention this because in a sense he was impersonating a police officer and could be mistaken for one. Another witness, Jean Hill, stated that the fatal bullet had been shot from the Grassy Knoll. In the Nix movie of the shooting of the President with the Grassy Knoll as backdrop, a vehicle can be seen in front of the wooden fence behind the lower concrete fence which was next to the sidewalk from the pergola leading to the steps onto Elm Street below. At the time of the shooting there seems to be a figure standing on the running board of the vehicle and this may be the person, possibly Roscoe White, who may have shot the fatal bullet. The vehicle belonged to Jack Ruby's good friend, Rubin Goldstein, nicknamed 'Ruby', who owned a pawn shop called "Honest Joe's Pawn Shop." This vehicle had been circulating through Dealey Plaza before the motorcade arrived to advertise the pawn shop with the name painted on the vehicle. Jean Hill and her friend, Mary Moorman, and others noticed it as they sought a good place to view the motorcade. Jean noted that the windows of this vehicle, a station wagon, were covered on the inside with corrugated cardboard so the interior was not visible, and she also told one investigator that she had seen the name of shop painted on the side of the car. This investigator had visited the pawn shop much later and had seen used police officers' uniforms hanging in a back room (this was told to me privately). You probably have heard of Ricky White, the son of Geneva and Roscoe White, who claimed his father had been involved in the assassination. We do know that Roscoe White did frequently do target practice. A Google search could bring up that material; it was years ago. I understand that the Ricky White story has been questioned, but I don't know enough about it to have a decision. A private investigator named, I think, Joe West, was looking into it. In this Forum a few years ago, I started a thread about the vehicle on the Grassy Knoll. The Nix film probably is on You Tube; it's about 7 seconds long, and has been altered a bit. The first time I saw it on the internet, the top part was covered up so that the vehicle and upper part of each frame was not visible and all that could be observed were the limosine, spectators, and the Secret Service agent hopping on the back of the car. Sometime later someone showed the full frame version, but it was very strange that the upper half of the film was originally covered. We weren't supposed to see that vehicle. I will ry to locate that thread for you. Jim Marrs book, CROSSFIRE, has the Jean Hill story about the vehicle. Jack if I recall said that RW far from being an assassin was involved in the framing of Oswald via the backyard photo and may have even stood in Oswalds spot. That's always been a really interesting theory |
