I have known of the dangers of so called "legal weed" also known as spice for several years, after having a juvenile client almost die from it. This past year "Bath salts" came to my attention from another client.
The incident in South Beach Florida where a naked man ate the face of another is now all over the news as being a case of under the influence of "bathsalts". A product anyone can legally buy in a head shop.
This sounds like a psyop to me. People want to use drugs and since they are illegal and can cost one a job where testing is done, or jail if one is caught, I can see where some enterprising person might come up with
legal versions of this stuff, not detected in a UA. However this stuff is so dangeous with such horrendous consequences that people have to be wondering just who is behind this product? And why.

"Legal highs" have been around for a while. One of the most known, especially in the UK is Mephedrone, which gives a euphoric high not too dissimilar to MDMA - a law was rushed through parliment ruling it illegal because of huge public pressure and because kids were taking it into school and using it. I don't know if these substances are a psyop, or have come about as result of the failures of our current drug policy.
If people want to get high, and they can't get their 1st choice, they are going to get the next best thing, and sadly they end up taking these dangerous research chemicals which although are legal, nobody knows their long term effects or how they effect the body.

MIAMI Lab tests detected only marijuana in the system of a Florida man shot while chewing another man's face, the medical examiner said Wednesday, ruling out other street drugs including the components typically found in the stimulants known as bath salts.
There has been much speculation about what drugs, if any, would lead to the bizarre behaviour that authorities said Rudy Eugene exhibited before and during the gruesome attack that left the other man horribly disfigured. A Miami police union official had suggested that Eugene, who was shot and killed by an officer, was probably under the influence of bath salts.
The Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner said in a news release that the toxicology detected marijuana, but it didn't find any other street drugs, alcohol or prescription drugs. Eugene also tested negative for adulterants commonly mixed with street drugs.
The department ruled out the most common components found in bath salts, which mimic the effects of cocaine or methamphetamine and have been associated with bizarre crimes in recent months. An outside forensic toxicology lab, which took a second look at the results, also confirmed the absence of bath salts, synthetic marijuana and LSD.
Messages left with the medical examiner's office for comment were not immediately returned.
An expert on toxicology testing said that marijuana alone wasn't likely to cause behaviour as strange as Eugene's.
"The problem today is that there is an almost an infinite number of chemical substances out there that can trigger unusual behaviour," said Dr. Bruce Goldberger, Professor and Director of Toxicology at the University of Florida.
Goldberger said that the medical examiner's office in Miami is known for doing thorough work and that he's confident they and the independent lab covered as much ground as possible. But it's nearly impossible for toxicology testing to keep pace with new formulations of synthetic drugs.
"There are many of these synthetic drugs that we currently don't have the methodology to test on, and that is not the fault of the toxicology lab. The challenge today for the toxicology lab is to stay on top of these new chemicals and develop methodologies for them, but it's very difficult and very expensive." Goldberger said. "There is no one test or combination of tests that can detect every possible substance out there."
It's not clear what led to the May 26 attack on Ronald Poppo, a 65-year-old homeless man who remains hospitalized. Eugene's friends and family have said he was religious, not violent and that he didn't drink or do drugs harder than marijuana.
"There's no answer for it, not really," Eugene's younger brother, Marckenson Charles, said in an interview. "Anybody who knew him knows this wasn't the person we knew him to be. Whatever triggered him, there is no answer for this."
Surveillance video from a nearby building shows Eugene stripping Poppo and pummeling him, before appearing to hunch over and lie on top of him. The police officer who shot Eugene to death said he growled at the officer when he told him to stop.
Charles, Eugene's brother, said the family does not plan to pursue any legal action against the police for shooting Eugene.
"They used the force they felt was necessary, even if we don't agree with that,' he said.
He said that Eugene has been buried.
Shortly before the attack, a person driving on the MacArthur Causeway told an emergency dispatcher a "completely naked man" was on top of one of the light poles on the causeway and "acting like Tarzan." Still, police have said little about what may prompted Eugene to attack Poppo.
Poppo has undergone several surgeries and remains hospitalized. His left eye was removed, but doctors said earlier this month they were trying to find a way to restore vision in his right eye. He will need more surgeries before he can explore the options for reconstructing his face, doctors have said. A message left with the hospital was not immediately returned.
Poppo's family has said it had no contact with him for more than 30 years and thought he was dead.
Eugene's girlfriend, meanwhile, has said he never showed any signs of violence. Yovonka Bryant said she and Eugene often read the Bible and the Qur'an together, and often watched a religious television program in the mornings. She said she never saw Eugene drink and only saw him smoke marijuana once at a party.

I don't believe there's any other known case in the medical literature where marijuana was implicated in a human eating another's human's face.
Alcohol and crack cocaine, on the other hand, are clear and direct factors in the street crime, GBH and murder which happens every minute of every day around the globe.
Alcohol is a huge source of profits for the multinationals, and a huge source of expense for hospitals.
Gary Webb was murdered for establishing that the crack cocaine flooding into LA ghettoes was channelled by the military-multinational-intelligence complex.
Whatever caused Rudy Eugene to become a face-chewing cannibal, it wasn't Mary Jane - unless we're about to see a psyop along the lines of Reefer Madness.

good post Jan! Absolutely! With the exception of if he was either a natural psychopath or [more likely] a victim of mind/drug control, there is ZERO evidence of MJ being anything dangerous......but there has been a constant drumbeat of the PTB saying otherwise [while they deal in MJ and harder drugs for profit.] Face it, the bad people have long ago taken control of both the polity and the propaganda.

Totally agree Jan. I do not know WHAT is going on here but it is not Mary Jane, which makes people chill, not violent.

Danny - nothing much is the real answer.
The origin of much that Ed has referenced is a guy called Adam Parfrey, and his small publishing house Feral House - with a healthy smattering of George A Romero movies watched on acid and a healthy knowledge of Brussel Sprout Alex Constantine's occasionally inspired paranoid trips.
I remember reading Apocalypse Culture in the late 80s on the tube, and a prim and proper woman tutting and harrumphing and trying to get me thrown out of the carriage. Its raison d'etre was the exploitation of taboos.

I see that Klimkowski has taken over my identity and answered your question.
As Klimkowski has taken it upon himself to attack me again and again, I don't feel compelled to answer or respond to his interpretation except to point out the fact that he has zeroed in on one publishing house as the lever for his explanation. As the Feral House was mentioned as the published of two of the books I noted as possible sources, each 200-300 pages long with lots of footnotes, sources, etc., it appears that Klimkowski has read all of the material in the space of about 40 minutes and appeared to "shoot the messengers" and play gate-keeper because of an impression he has about Feral House and its works, or Alex Constantine. Last I knew, investigation and conclusion works best when a wide array of sources are consulted with an open mind.
I leave you free, Danny, to form your own conclusion on the basis of the links and articles (which presumably you will read and explore) as well as additional material which some of those contributors may develop in the future.
The thesis offered within those links is that the bath salts story is a psy-op used to cover further testing of technologies in the broad arena of "remote behavioral influence".
