So far there is no clues as to who was behind it. It's tragic some random teenagers have to be targeted in a political game.

Netanyahu has already said "All signs point to Iran" and that Israel will "respond fiercely".

How can he be so sure it's Iran in such small time after the incident?

Could this be a false flag to be used in order to attack Iran or South Lebanon?

Israel Accuses Iran In Bulgarian Bus Bombing

Netanyahu vows Israeli response 'will be powerful'

- Common Dreams staff

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday blamed Iran for a bomb blast which killed at least six Israeli tourists in the Bulgarian resort of Burgas. The Israeli response, Netanyahu promised, will be powerful.
"All the signs lead to Iran. Only in the past few months we have seen Iranian attempts to attack Israelis in Thailand, India, Georgia, Kenya, Cyprus and other places," Netanyahu said in a statement.
"Eighteen years exactly after the blast at the Jewish community center in Argentina, murderous Iranian terror continues to hit innocent people. This is an Iranian terror attack that is spreading throughout the entire world. Israel will react powerfully against Iranian terror," he said.
The bus, carrying mostly Israeli youth, exploded at the Sarafovo International Airport in the Bulgarian vacation city of Bourgas Wednesday. Witnesses told Israeli media that the huge blast occurred soon after someone boarded the loaded vehicle.
Images shown on Israeli media showed smoke billowing from the scene -- a parking lot at the airport where tourists had apparently just landed on flights from Israel.
President Obama issued a statement Wednesday afternoon on the Bulgarian bus bombing:
"I strongly condemn today's barbaric terrorist attack on Israelis in Bulgaria. My thoughts and prayers are with the families of those killed and injured, and with the people of Israel, Bulgaria, and any other nation whose citizens were harmed in this awful event."
"These attacks against innocent civilians, including children, are completely outrageous. The United States will stand with our allies, and provide whatever assistance is necessary to identify and bring to justice the perpetrators of this attack. As Israel has tragically once more been a target of terrorism, the United States reaffirms our unshakeable commitment to Israel's security, and our deep friendship and solidarity with the Israeli people."
The White House declined to speculate on who was responsible for the attack in Wednesday's press briefing.

Former United States Ambassador to the UN John Bolton believes that Israel is poised to launch a direct attack on Iran in the wake of yesterday's terrorist bombing in Bulgaria.
Appearing on Fox News, Bolton said that Prime Minister Netanyahu's unequivocal accusation that Iran is responsible for the attack "gives every indication" that such an attack is in offing. Bolton went even further, saying that by not mentioning Hezbollah, Netanyahu was "very clearly saying that Israel will not just respond proportionately but will go after several facilities of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards."
Bolton, who is serving as one of Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney's foreign policy advisers, also said that although he does not believe that Israel intends to attack Iran's nuclear facilities at this juncture, but that any strike against Iran would lead to a "major escalation in the region" which might entail an attack against Tehran's nuclear infrastructure. Bolton added that he expects that US forces in the area will be put on alert following the Bulgaria attack.

The suspected suicide bomber who blew up a bus of Israeli tourists in Bulgaria is Mehdi Ghezali, a Swedish citizen and former Guantanamo detainee, Bulgarian media reported on Thursday.

Bulgarian media quoted the country's interior minister as saying that the man who was responsible for the attack in a Burgas airport, which killed five and wounded 34 Israelis, is Ghezali, who is a 33-year-old Swedish citizen of Algerian descent.

The report also said that Ghezali was held at the Guantanamo Bay detainment camp in Cuba, after he was captured in Pakistan for being an "unlawful combatant."
The report could not be independently confirmed.

Earlier Thursday, ABC showed an image of the suspect's fake Michigan driver's license with the name Jacque Felipe Martin.

The Novinite Daily reported Thursday that the Bulgarian Prime Minister Boiko Borisov said that officials are still trying to determine whether the suspect's U.S. passport was also counterfeit.

According to the image obtained by ABC, the license read "Michigan Operator's License" and showed a fake Louisiana address, which is actually that of a casino called the Belle of Baton Rouge.

If history is any guide, it certainly could be.

The Zionist media is angrily asking if and when Israel will 'respond'. That's very suspicious.

I wonder if he was one of the several former Guantanamo prisoners that Sweden was required to take if they wanted to be the new Best Friend Forever of the US according to the diplomatic cables?

Okay, now Bulgaria and Sweden are un-naming Mehgi Ghezali as the bomber. Interesting.

Swedish and Bulgarian officials denied Thursday that Mehdi Ghezali, a Swedish citizen of Algerian descent, is responsible for the attack against Israelis in Bulgaria a day earlier.
Bulgarian media reported earlier Thursday that the suspected suicide bomber who blew up a bus of Israeli tourists in Burgas, which killed seven people and wounded 34, was Ghezali, who is a 33-year-old former detainee of Guantanamo.
Several hours after the name was circulated in Israeli and global media, Swedish officials were quoted by the Swedish news agency TT as saying that Mehdi Ghezali was not the bomber behind the Burgas attack.
Moreover, Bulgarian officials told ABC news that the bombing suspect's name that has been circulating on the web is incorrect.
Earlier Thursday, Bulgarian media reported that the man responsible for the attack was Mehdi Ghezali, a 33-year-old Swedish citizen of Algerian descent and former Guantanamo detainee.
