This story has been overshadowed by the massacre in Fort Hood, but its more significant insofar as Britain's doomed campaign in Afghanistan is concerned, and surely its the final straw.
If the Afghani police force, which the British Army and Grenadier Guards are supposed to mentoring and training, can be so easily infiltrated by the Taliban resulting in British soldiers being machine gunned while they sat in their fortified compound, then, as the former British Defence Minister said, they face an impossible task in Afghanistan. And the gunman escaped.
Seems like every commentator and pundit in Britain now wants out, except Gordon Brown. To restate the obvious, the rubbish who call themselves western leaders are just salespersons for an endless cycle of war and misery.
