My tongue was in my cheek. Exporting jobs hardly helps the economy,
even though keeping car prices down using cheap labor does.

Jack I perceived the cheekiness.

I was alluding to John J. McCloy's trip to Brazil on behalf of Rockefeller in organizing the Brazilian coup of 1964, even while he was supposed to be more interested in his rigorous work for the WC.

JFK met with the President of Brazil but the CIA was plotting against him using Rocky buisiness interests like IBEC in Brazil. After the Coup of 1964
NAFTA flowed like imported clockwork.
