I was wondering who wrote the original article, so I Googled it and found the website:

This is Webster Tarpley's theory as well - that Bush might have been assassinated (or threatened with it) that day, and maybe Cheney and Rumsfeld would have declared martial law. But Bush decided to go along with the plotters and play ball.
