The Hunt for Obama

The hunt for Obama has been renewed, at least rhetorically, and the US has placed the combination of its intelligence agencies (supported perhaps by those of other nations), the brainpower and firepower of several elite military units (not to be sniffed at derisively), whatever surveillance technologies they will throw at the matter (and they are indeed considerable), eyes in the sky in aircraft and satellite form, etc etc., along with the authority, prestige and respect it commands as a nation within the world community to the task. Whether or not the man is formally wanted or not is immaterial, as this nation's leadership has said he is the primary culprit in a list of dastardly deeds including, of course, the one whose anniversary just passed. Ossama was at one time described as 77 inches tall (6'5"), with brown eyes and black hair (now presumably greying), and a weight of 143 pounds. There is some dispute as to when he was last seen, and by whom. He is known to need regular dialysis of his kidneys.



Tonight, at roughly 6 PM Eastern time, or 3 PM Pacific Time, it was announced that a criminally insane killer had escaped during a mental hospital field trip to a county fair. (Whether this fellow flew over the cuckoo's nest or not is not yet determined.) A search of Google news at the time of this posting indicates that he has not yet been found. The Spokane County Sheriff's Office launched a helicopter on Friday in the search, and the public was urged to call 911 if he is spotted. The escapee is a white male, 5-foot-8, 220 pounds, with brownish-gray hair, blue eyes, and a goatee. At the time of his escape, hel was wearing a red windbreaker jacket, with a T-shirt and jeans.
