I guess they can... Whoever can say these are intelligent beings?

If the Final, Final Solution is the baking of the planet, then I imagine they are planning for some techno fix, a big load of geoengineering. You make money breaking shit, and you make money fixing it. Uhh, sadly The Solution will result in a substantially lowered population.
