The impression I have is that a number of Education Forum members were also friends with HP and are active on Facebook. Your suggestion is a good one but I think a few of those guys will be way ahead of me.
I think Peter could have easily left the name of the Saudi billionaire within the manuscript if he'd either just published the entire book online, or self-published it on Amazon Createspace. The legit publishing route did get his book into a lot of channels it wouldn't have made it into otherwise though.
I did send a Tweet to Skyhorse commiserating and asking what was up with HP's book. In fact I think I did this twice. No response, which I don't particularly take to be anything sinister, as I suspect I could have asked them about an upcoming range of gardening books and received no response either.
Kevin Ryan is active on Twitter but mostly retweeting older articles that he's written. That said from comments made by Kevin a year or two back I think there are some new, substantial 9/11 research volumes forthcoming, undated. But I'm guessing every one of these is being purposefully kept back by both writers and publishers to land circa the 20th anniversary, in just over two year's time, as there will surely be many new volumes returning to the event at that point.
