Thanks Adele! Great show! Brings up a lot of issues...and leaves one very depressed....
Somehow we need to turn this despair into anger and action. As discussed on the show [and I agree 100%], short of a revolution, the Powers That Be are intent on endlessly racheting things up with more fear and fewer liberties, more surveillance etc....it is a ONE-WAY street.....toward a giant abyss [corporate fascist policestate, I fear]. When I think of how American has changed in my lifetime one can only be deeply saddened. It was far from perfect before....but after a slight move toward some better things, the REACTION took place and is very much in place still. I never had very hight hopes for Obama, but he has even beat my worst fears - he is just the 'good cop' to the Bush 'bad-cop'. Both work for the same Oligarchy - just two slightly different factions - slightly is the operative word.
