Anyone want to discuss HARVEY & LEE?

On September 17, 1963, just about the time the Oswald frame-up was being set in motion, piano player William Simmons began working with two other musicians at Jack Ruby's Carousel Club in Dallas. It must have been a pretty easy gig, working evenings and getting paid to watch young ladies take off their clothes on stage. But was that all there was to the assignment?

Hiding in plain sight for more than fifty years, the FBI report below indicates that Simmons, and a fellow Carousel musician, drummer Bill Willis, lived in a house at 2530 West 5th St. in Irving, more than 15 miles away from the Carousel Club. As the FBI report notes, the house was "in the immediate neighborhood of MICHAEL PAINE, 2515 West 5th Street, Irving, Texas."



In years gone by, before it began to look as if Ruby may have been MUCH more deeply involved in the assassination of JFK than had previously been thought, researchers probably gave this document little thought. Even so, the FBI was being conservative in describing how close these two Ruby-employed musicians lived to the house where Ruth Paine and Marina Oswald and her girls were now living... and where Lee HARVEY Oswald often visited.

Looking out their front window Ruby's two employees saw this view of Ruth Paine's house. How much time at home could they spend keeping an eye on things at the Paine Residence? Well, six days out of seven, they worked just four hours at night, from 9 PM to 1 AM. A perfect way to keep tabs on the family of a guy being set up to take the fall for "The Crime of the Century."
