Behring Breivik will have talked with many members of the EDL and the British National Party (GNP) about "tactics" on the social networks, writes the Daily Mail.
According to the British newspaper Telegraph EDL members in several online forums said that they have met Breivik. One of them, Daryl Hobson, argues that Breivik participated in a demonstration last year in London.
The terror-accused 32-year-old, according to Telegraph met EDL leaders when he was in London in connection with the Dutch, Islam politician Geert Wilders critical visited London in March last year.
Another alleged high-ranking member of the EDL, who speaks anonymously to the newspaper, says Breivik had regular contact with members of Facebook and that he had a "hypnotic" effect on them.
- I talked to him a few times on facebook, he is intelligent and very good at putting words on things. I saw him as very sociable, the source told the newspaper.
Officially, EDL denied knowledge of Breivik.
- We can categorically deny that there has been no official contact between him and the EDL, type English Defence League on its website, according to Dagbladet.
After news of the 32-year-old's alleged ties with the British extreme environments, British politicians demanded an investigation of the Norwegian's ties to Britain.
According to Prime Minister David Cameron, the claim of a possible terrorist connection to the radical right groups in Britain is "extremely serious".
The British police are now searching for Britons who may be related to the Norwegian.

During Norwegian police questioning Breivik said that there are two other "cells" in Norway and several others around Europe which helped him. The Norwegian police are investigating whether there may be other individuals who have contributed to the terrorist attack on Norway on Friday.
