"God is not a real estate agent" was Palestinian scholar Edward Said (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edward_Said)'s response to the Zionist (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zionism)claim to scriptural proof, from the Old Testament, that God had given Palestine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palestine) to the Jewish people. Were Edward Said still among us, he might now respond, "God is not a commodities broker," because Zion Oil and Natural Gas now claims scriptural proof, Genesis 12:1-3, and 49:25, and Deuteronomy 33:24 that God gave the oil and natural gas in the land of milk and honey to the Jewish people as well:

In morning trading hours, on July 6, 2009, Zion Oil and Gas was the top volume gainer on the American Stock Exchange, jumping 6.79% and trading at over twice its daily average volume. Hold on, because Palestine---or, more precisely and more likely, Israel alone---may be poised to become the next Dubai.

Interesting post, Magda. The plot sickens. It's God's will that all the oil belongs to Israel and apparently this trumps four aces---and anything else.

I see Zion Oil has only two offices, one in Israel and one in Dallas, Texas. You gotta love coincidences.
