"Former Georgia State Senator Nancy Schaefer and her husband were found shot dead in their Georgia home Saturday. Nancy fought abuses by children's social services and claimed CPS was involved in child trafficking rings."

So reports one news aggregator web site... Apparently Alex Jones interviewed the woman (he's the controversial fellow in Austin, Texas), and there is a lionk to another site that requires a registration process. The usual search mechanisms will allow you to ascertain what's worth reading and what is not, the depth and veracity of things according to your own lens.

What strikes me is that the matter of the sexual abuse of minors by parents, those in place of parents, and those theoretically responsible for society's care and keeping of children, including teachers, scout leaders, clergy, the new outbursts from within organized religion, the prior day care cases, the Franklin affair, the Dutroux matter, the post-disaster "rescue" in Haiti, and -- Lord knows I've probably failed to list one or two of them -- all suggest that the world has an epidemic on its hands.
