January 28th 2015 17:13 Odds movements in the Asian underground markets confirm the suspicion that Ivory Coast would beat Cameroon to qualify for African Cup of Nations Quarter Finals (all four previous matches in Group D had been drawn 1-1). Wilfried Bony and Yaya Toure would now miss the Chelsea v Manchester City title showdown.

January 28th 2015 17:13 FA announces that Diego Costa would be banned for three matches in ahighly questionable interpretation of events. The best player in the country would now miss the title showdown too.

January 28th 2015 17:13 Asian underground markets respond to the banning of Costa by lengthening price on Chelsea victory from 1.98 to 2.05 (they have since drifted to 2.19 at time of writing).

So the fact that the result of an African Cup of Nations match was known to the Asian markets 45 minutes prior to kick off meant that the FA banned a player which resulted in the self-same Asian markets reacting markedly to this new information that was only present in reality due to earlier Asian market activity!

And you're telling me football isn't fecked!!

Not to be left out of the farce, the sole individual who selects referees for the PGMOL on Premier League games, Keren Barratt, decided to make Mark Clattenburg referee for this event (Clattenburg had been stood down from televised EPL games since the peculiar betting patterns and his bizarre officiating in Leicester's 5-3 win over Manchester United) and make Jon Moss the 4th Official.

A match of integrity Chelsea versus Manchester City is not.

To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.

Bony and Yaya would have missed the Chelsea game anyway, there's no way they would have played if they had only 2 days to get home.

Sometimes the Asian markets react to team news with early information and the bookmakers in Europe and across the world will react and adjust their odds accordingly. Generally the world follows Asia when it comes to market movements in Sport.

But in this case I can't see anything wrong.

Danny, you used to be in this business, what do you make of this guy? I've read him a lot and see him as someone who knows the insides of the gambling industry rather intimately.
