Thread: JFK and the Willard Hotel Plot

Hybrid View

  1. Default JFK and the Willard Hotel Plot

Paul Bleau does a quite thorough job in his review of this new book on an alleged attempt to kill JFK.

    This time in Washington DC.

  2. Default Intrigue

Kudos to Mr. Bleau for an astute, critical yet fair-minded critique of the author's tantalizing piece.

  5. Default Two Places At Once?

What an excellent idea, Mr. O'Blazney.

Given his busy schedule (holding the Warren Commission apologists to a higher-standard), it's more and likely, the OP simply meant to write "through and through", which is essentially thorough, but like the rest of the human race--from time to time, our mind processes thoughts before our hands get the memo. No harm, no foul.

    Now, back to the thread.

Given the author's assertion in his book that Mr. Oswald was in Washington, D.C. in early October, 1963 lurking in the shadows, that date presents several challenges, not the least of which is around this same time he was also refiling for unemployment benefits in Austin, Texas. Will have to double back here next week with more detailed specifics, but I'm sure I read somewhere he was concerned about his unemployment benefits, $33, running out on 8 October 63.

I couldn't agree more, my point excatly.

As for your closing argument, I thought the very same thing with a million more questions posted a few on my FB.

We know Jack did visit Chicago for a day and left that evening due to a cold, he then went to Connecticut during the Democratic campaign run where for the first time views the photos of the missiles in Cuba placed there by Russia. Shortly after his visit to Connecticut there was a plot to whack Jack in New York, Oswald had no part in that and since Jack lived at the White House in Washington this review has me beleive that there is another mafia spin story to add to the long list.

Thank you Mr. Ford for your complement, I do beleive that with so many folks saying my father's story is debunked, yet, they do not offer any proof other than to share their opinion, gee, if all I had to do was share my opinion, then folks would've taken my father more seriously.

What to make of the whole Floyd Boring memo?

And why did the author try and conceal his name as a source?
