Thread: JFK and the Willard Hotel Plot

  1. Default JFK and the Willard Hotel Plot

Paul Bleau does a quite thorough job in his review of this new book on an alleged attempt to kill JFK.

    This time in Washington DC.

  2. Default Intrigue

Kudos to Mr. Bleau for an astute, critical yet fair-minded critique of the author's tantalizing piece.

  5. Default Two Places At Once?

What an excellent idea, Mr. O'Blazney.

Given his busy schedule (holding the Warren Commission apologists to a higher-standard), it's more and likely, the OP simply meant to write "through and through", which is essentially thorough, but like the rest of the human race--from time to time, our mind processes thoughts before our hands get the memo. No harm, no foul.

    Now, back to the thread.

Given the author's assertion in his book that Mr. Oswald was in Washington, D.C. in early October, 1963 lurking in the shadows, that date presents several challenges, not the least of which is around this same time he was also refiling for unemployment benefits in Austin, Texas. Will have to double back here next week with more detailed specifics, but I'm sure I read somewhere he was concerned about his unemployment benefits, $33, running out on 8 October 63.

I couldn't agree more, my point excatly.

As for your closing argument, I thought the very same thing with a million more questions posted a few on my FB.

We know Jack did visit Chicago for a day and left that evening due to a cold, he then went to Connecticut during the Democratic campaign run where for the first time views the photos of the missiles in Cuba placed there by Russia. Shortly after his visit to Connecticut there was a plot to whack Jack in New York, Oswald had no part in that and since Jack lived at the White House in Washington this review has me beleive that there is another mafia spin story to add to the long list.

Thank you Mr. Ford for your complement, I do beleive that with so many folks saying my father's story is debunked, yet, they do not offer any proof other than to share their opinion, gee, if all I had to do was share my opinion, then folks would've taken my father more seriously.

What to make of the whole Floyd Boring memo?

And why did the author try and conceal his name as a source?

In my 'opinion', LMAO! No source, fake news! I've not once concealed anyone's name, anyone that gave me information, or decided to share information with me unless it was someone on FB who asked we keep the information between ourselves. I always respected everyone's request. There are exceptions, like, Posada asking me not to release information he shared until he was dead, no one even knew he had cancer except those he had a personal relationship, and even then he had ask those he shared this information with to keep it confidential. We all knew he was dying, just didn't know when it would happen, and the last thing he wanted was having his family bombarded by journalists or news reporters.

Information like this Jim, why would you not want to expose the source? 50 plus years later too? That would be huge news!

Alan is suffice, Mr. Kaiser , Mr. Ford (Pappy) left this realm years ago, but thank you anyway.

The Floyd Boring memo is indicative of contrived "evidence" in my humble opinion, Mr. DiEugenio

The wrongly accused wasn't even in the ground for a full week yet, and already the nefarious narrative about his pro-Russian leanings was in Overdrive. The Boring memo also presents uncharacteristic-behavior, especially of anyone seriously plotting to ambush a random target, let alone a high profile one like a sitting president.
Yoohoo, over here, take a good loooong look at me, and make sure you report my look-at-me activities, because that's what we assassins do best, bring unwarranted attention to ourselves, especially when we are trying to get the upper-hand on an unsuspecting target.
    ...Horse manure.

Moreover, given the exemplary research of Mr. Palamara regarding Floyd Boring, and the U.S. Secret Service in general, the author realised his source wasn't a credible boy scout by any stretch of the imagination, thus an attempt to bring him in under the radar so to speak. He seems to have a penchant for this maneuver as one continues to read the fair yet honest appraisal offered up by Mr. Bleau

Lest we forget for those of you reading along as "Guest", because the seasoned researchers within this community already know this, if you remember nothing else, please remember this:

The mob and its membership--as ruthless as they can be--Do Not control the itinerary of a sitting president. The same goes for Cuba; the U.S.S.R and/or a framed patsy.
