I see that Magda Hasan has mentioned my name a couple of times in her posts in this thread, carefully
editing out some important points in my brief email exchange with her.
1. It was Peter, not ME, who contacted me first about the problems he was having on the EF.
2. It was Peter who apologized to me (repeatedly) about the email in question which he sent me several months ago that
read "cyber sex" in the subject line.
3. He was also the one who emailed me and told me that the email in question was meant to be a joke when the "sexual harrassment" issue
was brought up by Jack White on the EF.
4. It was also Peter himself who asked me to email the admins and tell them there had been a misunderstanding.
5. The claim that Peter was removed because of a complaint I made months ago is ridiculous. If that were the case, he would have
been removed long ago.
All in all, you will have to look elsewhere to get your scapegoat.

Peter was accused by Walker of being some sort of cyber sex pest based on your original complaint against Peter. Not even sure what you are getting at here so cannot address it fully. Not sure where or why Jack fits into this but of course it was a joke. Peter would never sexually harass anyone.

Yes, why did he have to do that? Why did you not do this yourself, unasked, as would have been the right and decent thing to do? You knew it was all unfounded but you said nothing until asked. Unbelievable!

Yes it is ridiculous. Why was Walker (and I think JS) using it against Peter? Why indeed? I know you, lady in question, don't have the answer to this one. But others do.
No one is trying to 'scapegoat' you. It seems to me you are as a much abused in this whole charade as Peter is. The trouble lies with the administration of the EF. That is obvious. You are just a tool in abuse. A cowardly bunch of thugs using your 'honour' to hide their deeds behind.
Oh, and by the way, is it Chi or Cigdem? And is it Gole or Eksi? They're very particular about having the proper name over there at the EF. I'm sure there is a perfectly good explanation for it, as there is for me. Probably the same one even. Diminutive and marriage. Yes?

Oh, my.... I don't know what she was thinking when she reported me to Walker, only that for whatever reason she made the first allegation in whatever form, it was IMO a needlessly and gross overreaction, given our prior long correspondence over months, and did cause harm. That said, calls for the exchanges to be made public are frankly misguided. I long long ago offered to the Admin over there to let them see the exchanges privately. On the fact that the exaggerated claim, however it came about, was then used to form the nucleus of a snowball rolled by Mr. Walker into a bomb to drop on my head to 'rid him of that bothersome 'priest'' seems clear enough. More than that I don't think warrents explanation. I'll repeat, the real villain(s) in this piece is/are in the Admin there. I don't, for one, think it kind or worthwhile to now attack her, even if I feel her overreaction was greatly unwarranted and her late-in-the-day response just that - late.
It was only the excuse used, later replaced by others, then others, and yet still others. Everyone is entitled to think otherwise and in their own way, of course; just expressing my opinion. I'd say all that happened never should have; but someone had malice toward me and used anything at hand and even invented some more. The fix was in. This now resembles soap opera rather than research. That other members were informed of my supposed transgressions and that they were known adversaries says it all. I wish this all just never happened. I seem convicted and executed for a potpourri of offenses never committed; and not even clearly defined - certainly never allowed to defend myself against them. Again, the fix was in. Enough said - in fact given this all - too much, IMO.

I just went through about half of all of the 150 email exchanges I had with her over a period of OVER 16 months. I'll stand 100% behind my original and consistent statement - they were not anything even close to problematic for either - a mutual exchange; mostly totally innocuous - with a few, for a short while, MUTUALLY flirtatious for months - end of it! This is all much ado about nothing! They do however contain personal information about both persons, and are not the stuff of public posting! :burnout: I would mention that in one six months into the exchange she says to me

I also note the supposedly 'offending' email was dated 5/21/09. I received an abusive PM from Walker on this in late Sept 09 along with being called 'thinking like a Nazi', dangerous, boilingly mad, and other such this in such a polite and labored explanation why I declined a verbal 'duel' with him on the Forum. It also included the (also false) accusation that there were other women. Produce that evidence - now that the Big Lie is proven false; try to support the 'Unmentionable' others!! The timing of events, as are the apparent/transparent motives, trumped-up and time-impossible accusations are all highly suspect!! - IN THE EXTREME!!
