The Simkin Spectacle

Carroll was a friend of Dennis Ford's during the days that Jerry Rose's The Fourth Decade was under siege by people like Dave Perry, Mark Zaid, Ford etc. I thought many of these new authors, who appeared after Stone's film came out, were kind of spooky.

Does anyone know the story behind Dave Reitzes? He wrote some really good internet articles back in the 90s and then suddenly became a born-again lone-nutter. Very strange. I've never been able to understand how a person makes that sort of conversion, other than by financial reward.

My opinion on this is that they were always on the wrong side and, for what ever, reason pretended otherwise. To try to say that the evidence converted them is just impossible for me to believe. The evidence points one way only: conspiracy.

Jim,

You're correct. Farley had a hissy fit and scorched the earth. (I hope he grows to understand how remarkably similar he is to the eraser-in-chief, John Simkin.)

These four links resolve to pages in which RCD dismantled the lie (and the liar) that neighbors called police to report that Oswald was beating his wife.

I don't see how it could be a more dysfunctional place if it was an intended feature.

Remember Simkin defending his welcoming of Terri Williams? It is almost three years since I posted this.:

Please! Enough already! This thread is an affront to the sensibilities of almost all of us. Make it stop. The significance of the role of the KKK and like minded groups will not be diminished, challenged, negated, countered, blunted, pre-empted, or minimized in the least if this thread is locked and discussion continues elsewhere without this "witness". What on earth are some of your thinking in continuing this? It makes me wince to see it here on the Ed Forum, as it has since the first page of this thread......

I look, but don't touch, anymore. Jim, you're dancing with the devil!
Peter Janney's uncle was Frank Pace, chairman of General Dynamics who enlisted law partners Roswell Gilpatric and Luce's brother-in-law, Maurice "Tex" Moore, in a trade of 16 percent of Gen. Dyn. stock in exchange for Henry Crown and his Material Service Corp. of Chicago, headed by Byfield's Sherman Hotel group's Pat Hoy. The Crown family and partner Conrad Hilton next benefitted from TFX, at the time, the most costly military contract award in the history of the world. Obama was sponsored by the Crowns and Pritzkers. So was Albert Jenner Peter Janney has preferred to write of an imaginary CIA assassination of his surrogate mother, Mary Meyer, but not a word about his Uncle Frank.

Wow!, There I was feeling sorry for myself for not being able to get past the gauntlet over there entitled "Validating", in spite of more than five attempts to do so since way back when...

but the small cross I bear pales to the rugged experiences others had to endure while reading through this thread. Perhaps, Mr. Scully, who certainly deserves an open and public apology along with Mr. DiEugenio, Mr. Lemkin, etc., is right in his assessment above. Meanwhile, it's a bit of a consolation to me to know that perhaps my time and energy is being spared...besides, it's already taken a full year and four months to no avail, so the following words of wisdom isn't falling on deaf ears, quote, "I look, but don't touch, anymore. Jim, you're dancing with the devil!"

and time moves on amid EF censorship while an administrator decides what to do with a registrant who fully espouses the importance of Prayer Man. Again, that's a small cross to bear considering all of the nonsense so many other top-shelf researchers have already endured.

I admit that I rarely go and look back in that cesspool that passes for a research forum...but I DO SO love reading the posts of Robert Charles-Dunne !!!!!!!! His posts were often the highlight of the EF - and I can't ever remember his loosing a logical argument, nor failing to make me laugh in doing so. His way with words was extraordinary, and matched his way with logic.

And thank goodness for the wayback machine that has captured much of that the censors who run the EF have deleted.....

My work was outstanding in that thread, and I only regret I didn't get a chance to archive it before Lee Farley (or whomever) deleted it out of abject shame!

Jim, help (stamp) him out.

.....When something so bizarre as this takes place, one knows there's fraud afoot. To wit, the following list of nineteen people provided by Paul Trejo and what we should find in furtherance of his contentions, but do not:

First, let's clear the decks of the obvious padding.

Mahlon Tobias (and his wife who didn't make Paul's list) have already been dispatched to the remainder bin, as they both testified they personally neither saw nor heard anything except complaints from other tenants of their building. That leaves 18. ....

......We are now down to our final witness on the list of nineteen: Marina Oswald.

I will be uncharacteristically brief and suggest only that one takes seriously what this witness has to say at one's own peril. For in key respects, of all the Commission's witnesses, nobody's narrative has been more flexible, elastic, malleable, changeable, than Marina's.

Physical abuse of spouses is no laughing matter, irrespective of gender, class, religion, et al. It should be condemned at every turn.

It is remarkable that so few of the above nineteen witnesses bothered themselves to do so.

Equally remarkable is that not one of them, including the victim, thought to notify the police.
It is conceivable that the entire group of them didn't care enough, but that is belied by their generosity to and solicitude toward Marina.

The alternative, needless to say, is that the issue was blown out of all proportion - for a specific purpose - when Oswald was alive, and magnified even further by the Commission for its own purpose after his death, in taking testimony of those who could only offer hearsay conjecture, while inexplicably giving the cold shoulder to the only puported witness to Oswald slapping his wife.

That this fraud continues to be cited as probative today only illustrates the intellectual and moral bankruptcy of those who traffick in this fiction.

Yes...but...their webcrawler is not everywhere at every time....and you'll not find all dates or posts from a Forum. Actually, as time goes by, the Wayback Machine will have more of the posts filled in, but on very large and active forums it may never have it all.

The practice at the EF of purging people's posts [as happened to me and several others] is sick and totally against the ideas they claim to stand for. At worst terminate someone's right to post, but leave the posts and responses to the posts i.e. the threads up. Censorship (and worse) is what it is.
