2016 Election, Historical Amnesia and Deep Politics
#1
Up at Kennedysandking.com, Alex Sill's nice reverie on how the 2016 election was really a result of the final Democratic betrayal of its true heritage of the sixties.

I love the photo of Kissinger with HRC, and please click the link to see how close the Clintons were with the crazy criminal. Also note Bill and Suharto. And they expected to win with this crap?

I have a feeling that whatever influenced the great unwashed in America was not enlightened awareness of the democratic party's failures on this political basis and was instead probably a more visceral, street level manipulation of image more than anything. Still well within the purview of CIA and its methods.

When the parties have very little difference the public can be influenced to vote for the what they are induced to believe is the better bastard. (No, I'm not endorsing Trump)

Maybe you don't know this, but Obama has deported more illegal aliens than any other president in history.

Just last year, he deported over 400,000 total.

HRC never brought this up in the debates. I suspect because she was too devoted to "identity politics".

The Democrats have to get back to a class analysis. The kind of thing Sanders offered. To have let Trump steal that issue was a sacrilege on their part. But not only did he steal it, he made it work. Click through to that marvelous quote by Michael Moore, who was one of the very few who understood what was about to happen in the mideast bastion which flipped to the GOP billionaire. (BTW, please click through to the links in this since they are elucidating. For example on the Clintons and Kissinger.)

Alex did a nice job in showing just how lost the Democratic Party is today. I cannot recall, her name but the Clinton forces reneged on a very eloquent Sanders speaker at the last minute. I think her name was Natasha, something?

I was wrong about the first name, it was Nina Turner.

Here is the story: http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2016...convention

As Alex notes, it was a very controlled operation at Philly, quite slick and hidden. Podesta and pals wanted to minimize Sanders and his supporters.

They did. And they lost.

Electing Schumer Senate minority leader and re-electing Pelosi as House minority leader isn't a real promising start.

Good point on Obama and deportations. I like to point out to Obama/Clinton supporters that nearly every bad thing they imagine Trump will do (and he will, not endorsing him at all) has already been done in the past by the Dems (particularly the Clintons and Obama).

What the Clintons did to the Democratic Party is something that is so underreported and unexposed it makes me sick.

Just mention Dickie Morris and Mark Penn for starters.

IMO, Good Riddance to them.

Riddance comes at quite an unaffordable price. I predict they will look better to you next year, the year after that, etc., in comparison with what is going to happen next. Conway scares me almost as much as
Trump, Pence, Bannon, Flynn, McConnell, Ryan, Carson, Perry, Rex, Munchkin at Treasury, Sessions at DOJ....etc., etc., etc.... The fawning, apologist fans are also amazing to listen to....
Peter Janney's uncle was Frank Pace, chairman of General Dynamics who enlisted law partners Roswell Gilpatric and Luce's brother-in-law, Maurice "Tex" Moore, in a trade of 16 percent of Gen. Dyn. stock in exchange for Henry Crown and his Material Service Corp. of Chicago, headed by Byfield's Sherman Hotel group's Pat Hoy. The Crown family and partner Conrad Hilton next benefitted from TFX, at the time, the most costly military contract award in the history of the world. Obama was sponsored by the Crowns and Pritzkers. So was Albert Jenner Peter Janney has preferred to write of an imaginary CIA assassination of his surrogate mother, Mary Meyer, but not a word about his Uncle Frank.

I understand that Tom, and since I live in California I voted for Stein.

Had I lived in say, Florida, I would have held my nose and voted for HRC.
