Without the least bit of evidence, I wonder if some future Guido Preparata will tease out the current equivalents of Montague Norman and Hjalmar Schacht, if indeed they exist. Preparata has this to say in its conjuring of Hitler and WWII with particular notice to the bold text:

Just think about what he is saying with respect to the current hollering and at least wonder if the same tricks are being used now as in pre-war England.

As far as President Pence goes, it'll take the FBI a couple of more years to put together a case against Trump.
As long as the Resistance stays strong the Dems will re-take Congress in 2018 and elect Bernie Sanders in 2020.
