Finally made it, thanks for the invitation Maggie. once I get myself orientated I intend to open a debate on the Falklands "War" with particular reference to the Belgrano incident, the push that got us into the conflict, and the conflict that saved Thatchers Political neck.

Regards, Steve.

Welcome Steve, brother of Egyptian travelers everywhere.

The Belgrano would be a very welcome subject for discussion. I rather hope you might also start a thread on Jack the Ripper - to continue our past discussions on this intriguing subject.

The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.

Another subject exposed the The Shock Doctrine.
A purely political "war."
Not like the current wars which are mostly about money and oil.

Welcome Stephen.
Great to see you here.

Thank you Myra and David. David, I will happily open a discussion on Jack, just so long as you know NOBODY'S ever going to solve that one.

Myra, As Ms Klein says, a Political war of purest intent. I do however believe I've got something new on the sinking of the Belgrano, which, as I said, was the trigger for the whole shooting match, once the ship went down there would be no stoping the war.

I'm personally more interested in the back and surround ground than an outright solution.

.

Then into Whitechapel we shall go dear old Boss. A sniff around the local masonic lodge, and a quick gander at who was called to the bar with MJ Druitt may be of interest.
