Hello all.
I've been studying these issues for 25 years and reading the education forum for a long while but when I found this forum let me say how overjoyed I was at the content and the people posting. Well done.
Question for Charles Drago is this;
On the education forum (I'm sorry I can't find the exact post) you made a post saying that when Bill Clinton became President he was going to look into the JFK assassination and UFO's and was told he did not have clearance.
If possible, could you please expand on that as it's very interesting.

The Clinton story you ask about was not "broken" by me. The president's friend, advisor, and Justice Department appointee Webster Hubbell published a memoir in which he claimed that Clinton sent him to Justice with the following mission: "'I want you to find the answers to two questions for me. One, Who killed JFK? And two, Are there UFOs?'"
Hubbell added, "He (Clinton) was dead serious. I had looked into both, but wasn't satisfied with the answers I was getting."
While I may have referenced this story on another forum, I cannot confirm its accuracy. For what it's worth, I have no reason to disbelieve Hubbell.

I second Charlie's warm welcome to the forum Mark.
On the UFO matter -- assuming it is of interest to you that is -- you might consider reading Nick Cook's book "The Hunt for Zero Point" (assuming, of course, that you haven't read it already...). Ditto Peter Levenda's Volume 1 of his excellent trilogy "Sinister Forces - A Grimoire of American Political Witchcraft", as this volume has a few choice pieces of information that connect the subject of UFO's and JFK.

I long ago heard that story as well and my feeling was that if Clinton was genuinely interested in the assassination of JFK he could have utilized his Justice Department to pick up where HSCA left off. After all they recommended such at their conclusion, but of course under the next presidents Reagan and Bush the matter was left hanging. To his credit he did appoint the members of ARRB and as a result much information was released, but Clinton's Attorney General -Janet Reno- ignored HSCA's
recommendation.

Thanks for your replies.
As I live in Australia and I remember an interview with Clinton just before he took office that was held in Australia and he was asked if he would open the JFK case and he said he would be "looking into it" when he became president.
Not much happened after that.
I wonder if Obama would look into it?
I wonder what his response would be if asked?
