On another thread I've postulated that the alleged Chicago plot was a ruse designed to support the Dallas operation.

Dallas was the preferred site because of LBJ's association with it: A Dallas attack facilitated support of LBJ's FALSE Sponsorship and increased the likelihood of LBJ's obedience to Facilitators' orders.

Having talked at length to Madeleine Brown, my impression is that
the much disputed late night party at the Murchison estate is were
the sponsors, false sponsors and facilitators (USING DRAGONIAN
TERMINOLOGY) got together for the final GO decision. Billionaire
Murchison may have been the go-between of the partiers to the Drago
TRUE SPONSORS, giving the word that Lyndon awaited.

I've just come from Douglass's 'The Unspeakable'.


Nagell blows the Washington DC plot by mailing a warning to Hoover.


CIA panics and cancels the DC plot.


CIA then regroups and forms an emergency plan.


The Vallee plot is set-up as a failsafe in case Oswald gets caught after being exposed by an unpredictable loose cannon in Nagell. Vallee is not quite as sheep-dipped as Oswald but he'll do.


In this panic a car registered to Lee Harvey Oswald is used in the plot as part of a loosely-arranged last minute alternate plan. It was just a prop that ended up being useful in the last minute need to get Vallee in place.


At the same time Oswald is still not caught so he's redirected to the Dallas plan and put into the Depository by his Paine CIA handlers.


Johnson is not notified at this point.


By November 2 the Nagell leak is contained. Oswald is deemed unthreatened and serviceable. CIA aborts Chicago and gives the all go for Dallas. The notice for the Dallas plan being a go is a telegram with the codeword "Lee" included.


Once Dallas is chosen the plotters realize Johnson's political homeland can be used to advantage. The original plan is to just rely on Johnson's already-known diabolical nature to naturally take advantage of the situation and go along with it. However, the plotters realize Johnson's enlistment would not only serve the plot but would also provide another fall-guy if needed. Johnson is brought into the plot late as a knowing participant. Stunned, but realizing the great advantages about to befall him, he announces in enthusiastic glee that those Kennedy's aren't going to cause me any more trouble. He announces this because he's just received notification of a plan he wasn't expecting.


A man doesn't duck from a plot he's in control of.
