NORWAY - INSIDE JOB

The Norway Attacks look like an inside-job, involving, among others, fascist elements within the Norwegian police, military and security services.

On 1 August 2011, James Petras writes about Norway (Organized Political Terrorism.):

According to James Petras:

1. The car bomb was a highly complex weapon.

It required expertise and coordination - the kind available to security services, such as Mossad, which specialize in car bombs.

Amateurs, like Breivik, usually blow themselves up or lack the skill required to connect the electronic timing devices or remote detonators.

2. A lone zealot could not do all of the following:

(a) Transport the bomb

(b) Obtain (steal) a vehicle

© Place the bomb at the strategic site

(d) Successfully detonate it

(e) Dress up in a special police uniform

With an arsenal of hundreds of rounds of ammunition and drive off in another vehicle to Utoeya Island

(f) Wait patiently, while armed to the teeth, for a ferry boat

(g) Cross with other passengers in his police uniform

(h) Round up the Labour youth activists and begin the massacre of scores of youths

(i) Finish off the wounded and hunt for those trying to hide or swim away.

3. According to witness testimony on Utoeya Island, shots from two distinct weapons were heard from different directions during the massacre.

4. Note 'the complicity' of top police officials.

The police took 90 minutes to arrive at Utoeya Island, located less than 20 kilometers from Oslo, 12 minutes by helicopter and 25 to 30 minutes by car and boat.

The police chief, Sveinung Sponheim, made the feeblest excuse, claiming problems with transport.

A helicopter was available.

It managed to fly to Utoeya and film the slaughter.

Over half of Norwegians own or have access to a boat.

In 2008, the Norwegian Queen (above) honoured the writer Knut Hamsun, a famous Norwegian fascist.

5. The obvious question arises as to the degree to which 'neo-fascism' has penetrated the police and security forces.

It looks a though the neo-fascists 'influence' the government.

6. The police did not save a single life.

When they finally arrived, Breivik turned himself over to the police. The police did not have to hunt or capture the assassin. An almost choreographed scenario.

7. The Norwegian military has no problem sending troops to Afghanistan, half way around the world and providing Norwegian Air Force jets and pilots to bomb and terrorize Libya.

And yet they can't find a helicopter or a row boat to transport their police to stop a domestic attack.

8. The neo-fascist right want to 'send a message' to the Labour Party:

Either it must accept a full neo-fascist pro-Israeli agenda or expect more massacres, more elected fascists, more followers of Anders Behring Breivik.

The Region: The Oslo Syndrome

Many Europeans will accept terrorism against Israelis or even Americans; very few will applaud terrorism against fellow Europeans.

Talkbacks (233)

One of the most sensitive aspects of the murderous terrorist attack in Norway by a right-wing gunman is this irony: The youth camp he attacked was engaged in what was essentially (though the campers didn't see it that way, no doubt) a pro-terrorist program.

The camp, run by Norway's left-wing party, was lobbying for breaking the blockade of the terrorist Hamas regime in the Gaza Strip, and for immediate recognition of a Palestinian state, without that entity needing to do anything that would prevent it from being used as a terrorist base against Israel. They were justifying forces that had committed terrorism against Israelis, killing thousands of people like themselves.

Even to mention this irony is dangerous, since it might be taken to imply that the victims "had it coming." The victims never deserve to be murdered by terrorists, even victims who think other victims "had it coming." This is in no way a justification of that horrendous terrorist act. It's the exact opposite: a vital but forgotten lesson arising from it that can and should save lives.

Call it the Oslo Syndrome.

The Stockholm Syndrome is named after an incident in which hostages taken by a terrorist group became supporters of that group. A combination of intimidation (persuade these people that we're friends or they'll kill us); human psychology (get to know someone and hear their sad (whether or not true) story and sympathy arises); and ideology (having, or thinking you have, common ideas and interests).

Then there was the Oslo Process, the 1993-2000 effort to make peace between Israel and the Palestinians. In retrospect, it can be read as an attempt to solve a conflict by offering a great deal to those who rejected the offers, believing they could achieve total victory through tactics including terrorism.

Many in the West especially Norway think it only failed because not enough was offered.

The Oslo Syndrome encompasses all these things, but goes a step further, for the most dangerous thing you can do about terrorism is to make it appear politically successful. For terrorism is not an ideology or a movement, but merely a tactic: to murder noncombatants deliberately for political ends.

If you do this, will others (including the victims) be so terrorized as to give you whatever you want? Will they ignore the moral implications and support you nonetheless? Can you make the argument that you are so oppressed as to justify terrorism, as the ambassador of Norway implied is true against Israel after the killings in the summer camp? Is it possible to engage in terrorism, yet convince much of the world that your victims are the real terrorists? IF YOU can answer any of these questions with a "yes," then terrorism may be for you. Of course, not every worldview or movement would use it, but for those who do it is a very practical issue whether using terrorism is likely to result in being reviled and killed or being celebrated internationally and receiving large amounts of money.

The Oslo Syndrome can be defined as the opposite of the Stockholm Syndrome.

Instead of being a target of terrorism and then changing to support the terrorists' side, it means individually, as part of a movement, or as an entire country supporting the terrorists' side, then being victims of terrorism.

Here are four cases of terrorism being perceived as a failure and dying out: The idea that terrorism works originated with Gracchus Babeuf, a French revolutionary journalist who coined the word in 1793.

A few months later, his comrade, Pierre- Paul Royer-Collard, called terrorism "The only way to arouse the people and force them to save themselves" exactly what today's terrorists think. Babeuf was executed, though, and that idea went out of fashion for decades.

Late nineteenth and early twentieth century leftist or nationalist terrorism, engaging in bombings and murders in Europe and a bit in North America.

Latin American terrorism of the 1960s and 1970s, which failed to achieve revolution and was subsequently repressed.

European terrorism of the 1970s and 1980s, which mobilized little sympathy.

In contrast, Middle Eastern terrorism (Palestinian, radical nationalist or Islamist) enjoyed much local support and political success even in the West. Shortly after the September 11 attacks, an aide to Osama bin Ladin, Abu Ubeid al-Qurashi, recalled how Palestinian terrorism inspired the assault "thousands of young Palestinians" joined the PLO.

Yasser Arafat spent decades as a terrorist, and was applauded at the UN after a speech in which he threatened more murder then spent decades more as a terrorist, afterward becoming a virtual head of state and winning the Nobel Peace Prize.

Why should others not dream that the road to victory is paved with the corpses of murdered civilians? IF TERRORIST murders by Hamas and Islamists did not stop well-intentioned future leaders of Norway from considering them heroic underdogs, an evil local man could think his act of terrorism would gain sympathy and change Europe's politics.

After all, it has already changed the Middle East, and even been sanctified by Western media, intellectuals and governments.

When Norway's ambassador to Israel tries to distinguish between "bad" terrorism in Norway and "understandable" terrorism against Israelis, that opens the door to a man who thinks his country is "occupied" by leftists and Muslims.

In this sense, the most important thing about the Norway terrorist is not that he is right-wing or anti-Islam, The most important thing is that he believed terrorism would work on behalf of his cause.

Had he held all of the same beliefs but didn't think murder was a good tactic, nobody would be dead from his actions.

Of course, he was mentally unbalanced, but had a material basis for his imaginings.

What he didn't understand is that many Europeans will accept terrorism against Israelis or even Americans; very few will applaud terrorism against fellow Europeans.

Nevertheless, many people gave him the idea that terrorism would change minds, and bring victory. They weren't those whose blogs he quoted a few times in a 1,500-page manifesto, and who explicitly rejected violence. It was the successful terrorists and their Western enablers who gave him the tactic he implemented.

Israeli right-wingers have long infiltrated the institutions of the U.S., particularly the Rapture obsessed base of the Evangelical Christian Right and have made huge inroads into the Republican hijacked Tea Party Movement. Note how Glenn Beck has made the seamless transition from resident FOX demagogue to Israel's top American propagandist (I omit others such as Geller, Spencer and their ilk because they lack the mass appeal of Herr Beck) and will be giving marching orders to the shock troops against the infidel Obama. As I expressed in the essay that I posted earlier you can reasonably expect to see Breivik clones here in Der Heimat as the 2012 election season is going to be saturated with anti-Muslim, pro-Israel vomit, so much so that the Republican party nomination will be more about who will be loyal to God's Chosen Apartheid state than to the U.S. of A itself. Combine this with a desperate populace who are being bled to death economically by the minute to order to subsidize Wall Street criminals and their gambling, plutocratic tax chiselers like the Koch Brothers as well as the massive war machine and you have a seriously volatile mix. There are tent cities throughout the land and they are not ever covered lest the festering wart on the ass of humanity that is American looter capitalism be exposed as the parasite that it is. The sense of desperation grows and this will be channeled into a wave of right-wing violence, with foreign meddling.

The real reasons for the rot are never even whispered about by 'official sources' that the have wide public dissemination due to a corrupt media that is filled with moles and operatives who serve as shills and gatekeepers and will NEVER allow any truthful reporting on Israeli criminality nor the disloyalty to America of their kept politicians.

There will be blood .... that is a guarantee. The burning down of the liberal We Are Wisconsin HQ in LaCrosse that was backing recall efforts against fascist Republicans is only the first sign of what is to come once Beck calls for pogroms.

Yes, they discuss amongst themselves and keep most all important things from the population at large. Here is Australia we are in Afganistan, and we were in Iraq, and yet millions went on to the streets in protest at participating in any invasion. Despite all the legal advice being against it and still the option of going through the UN still available it was decided to participate in the invasion and the publics was fed the line about Saddam and WMD and it being the 'right' thing to do blah blah blah. Nothing was said in public about the grief that the US did/would/could threaten us with if we did not participate as told to do so or else by the US.

I had no idea about this Ed. A bad sign of things. That it happened at all and the lack of media outrage that it happened.

The police still have not yet confirmed information that suggests that Anders Behring Breivik had accomplices in the terrorist attack on 22 July.

Investigators in Oslo are working hard to map the path of the accused Nowegian man, and says it is still too early to draw a final conclusion that he was woirking alone - or not,; said the prosecutor Christian Hatlo stated during a press briefing at the police station Tuesday afternoon.

Hatlo is leading the investigation with police attorney Paal-Fredrik Hjort Kraby.

- As you know, we are now in a second phase, the investigation phase, where I apologize that we can not go into any details. On day eleven, the main focus remains to determine whether the accused had accomplices in one form or another. So far there is no information in the case that suggests that someone else had accessory liability, but it is too early to conclude in any final way, emphasized Hatlo Tuesday.

When asked if the police are in control of 32-year-old's movements Hatlo said that the accused's explanation in conjunction with other evidence in the case mean that the investigators feel they have a good overview of his moves on the last day before the terrorist attack.

Anders Behring Breivik will not testify about any alleged other terrorist cells unless he has a number of impossible demands fulfilled. The 32-year-old requires, among other things, that the Norwegian government resigns. It has transported him from Ila prison for questioning Friday of last week.

Have recordings of possible call from the perpetrator of Utøya

To work as efficiently as possible, working police teams has one or more specific work areas each within the investigation group .

Since the terrorist attacks, almost two weeks ago, the police have informed the press and the public daily on developments in the case.

Police Attorney Christian Hatlo confirmed that they have registered a phone call from the accused Anders Behring Breivik on Utøya, but says it is under investigation and not quite sure if it is actually Behring Breivik.

- He said he was alone, beyond that I do not want to say what he told police in questioning, said Hatlo.

One of the clues that the police must clarify, in order to check whether Behring Breivik was alone [or not], is that he actually phoned the police from Utøya. According to the accused's defense attorney, Geir Lippe City, says that he called police from the island.

The police in turn, only confirm that they have recorded a call to the police.

- We have received the investigation a log that shall include a call from the defendant. Whether it actually was him, I will not go into, nor what was said, said prosecutor Christian Hatlo.

Do you have recordings?

- Yes, we have audio recordings of the conversation, answered Hatlo to questions from NRK.

Police said they know when the phone call took place, but that this is information they do not want to go into at this time.

Secret interrogation

In his private manuscript Behring Breivik suggests that he had contact with other alleged terror cells in both Norway and Europe, but he has so far refused to comment within further questioning.

- New questioning of the accused will be made on an ongoing basis as we receive information. Time and place of interrogations, we can for safety reasons, not go out with, say Hatlo.

He would not comment on specific details of who is taken in for questioning in the case beyond Behring Breivik, but confirmed to NRK.no that the 32-year-old's immediate family are routinely questioned as witnesses in the case.

Hatlo was also asked about if blood samples were taken by the defendant after his arrest.

- It is routine to taken blood samples in such a case when a man is arrested, but the outcome of what these blood tests show I do not want to comment, says the police prosecutor.

- Today, the evidence and cleaning up the Utøya have been the focus. We also met today with criminal technicians from the government quarter, and they see themselves now finished with the technical work. Also, where will we start cleaning up, summed Hatlo.

He confirmed that police in Oslo has established cooperation with many international colleagues, including Interpol.

- I will be reluctant to say how we can help, but I can confirm that there are representatives from several other countries than just Norway.

Anders Behring Breivik (32) from Oslo, is accused of killing a total of 77 people in Oslo and Utøya. He admits the killing but denies any guilt.

I concur, absolutely.

It was posted to demonstrate the POV with which, as Ed Encho described above, we here in America are regularly immersed, and which can be back-traced to the influences of Zionism, Israel, the iron grip on finance and media enjoyed by the the descendants of the Rothschild formula and the radiation of "illumination to outer circles"*, of which the CFR is one, of a series of interlocked precepts that are used effectively to bring down centers of social influence, sovereign states, and centralize power. [The latest wrinkle here is the creation of a "Super Congress": "Legislation approved by the Super Congress which some on Capitol Hill are calling the 'super committee' would then be fast-tracked through both chambers, where it couldn't be amended by simple, regular lawmakers, who'd have the ability only to cast an up or down vote. With the weight of both leaderships behind it, a product originated by the Super Congress would have a strong chance of moving through the little Congress and quickly becoming law."]
