Anybody care to comment on this? If this is true then IMO this goes beyond the politics of Republican or Democrate. I see this as total unAmerican. If this proves true..., then it appears the American people, as a whole, including our elected officials do not care what kind of "side-deals and secret manipulations" the "SHADOW GOVERNMENT" within Washington's beltway elite launches in the name of the American people.

It is my opinion that it does not matter who we put in as a President....(Rep. or Dem)..., he or she, will only -- in time --become a figure head for Wall Street, special interest, and lobbiest..., business as usual at the expense of the American People.

It is my view that the Congress and the Senate, Dem. or Rep., will NOT work with President Obama in spite of of the positive programs or other matters he speaks of, or whatever he says....Our elected officials will stall and stall and back bite until we as a Nation loose it all.

If President Obama pushes to hard and does not fall inline, soon, then the powers that be, wil assassinate him. As some of us know It has happen before..., more than once.

I am not a Democrate or a Republican... I am an American and damn proud of it..... We need a GRASS-ROOTS movement... removed far away from todays politics. Americans need to speak and speak now and not through our elected officials. They as a body have fail us far to long. Special interest and strong lobbiest have sold us out as a Nation. In my opinion, apathy has ruled far far to long. We have lost the way and we as a Nation had better act fast to save what little freedom we still have.

If not, then we as a Nation had better put a Red Star on our foreheads.., if we want to be around for the next few decades.

OK - the first question is who is the "me" of the article?

So, I tried to track down the source of the article by googling the title and found it's spreading like a virus across the net.

As far as it's possible to tell, the article appears to have originated with Hal Turner.

Of course, wiki is far from 100% accurate.

However, if America had granted "Eminent Domain" to China, I doubt Mr Turner would have sources at the US embassy in Beijing prepared to leak this to him.

That said, I wouldn't be totally surprized if there are secret "China deals" being concocted by the financial elites who are desperate to prevent China from dumping its American Treasuries....

while I don't think it is true, in fact; in effect, it is partly true and getting truer every day the Chinese and a few others buy up the country and its monetary instruments, especially Treasury Notes.

Tosh - thank you for posting the piece. Hopefully one of the purposes of this forum is to use the range of knowledge and different specialities of its members to get a better understanding of what the deep political structures are really up to.

Tosh and Peter - I agree with both your comments.

However, I doubt we'll get a straight answer from any of our politicians.

Essentially because Treasury notes (of all governments) are currently a global game of Bluff. What little real value they possess can best be seized by the person/state who tries to sell them first.

The first seller will get some return on their investment. The last seller will end up with toxic paper whose only use will be as post-it notes.

Or something far more basic...

I'm sure that geopolitical steps, and probably geopolitical threats, are being put in place to deter China from being first out of the door.

It's not entirely implausible that these even include the promise of "Eminent Domain". However if, as we suspect, Hal Turner is the source for that original piece, I want another source to provide some corroboration...

I saw that article too and it gave me goosebumps. Hopefully it's just crazy talk. But yes, good points Jan. I am actually trying to avoid news about the economic situation as it is just too scary: Keeps me awake at night.

I can certainly understand, it is hardly less frightening here in Europe - only a few months lag behind, but on the same trail over the edge. I fear that it is something none of us can ignore and, as I've said before, is the 'new 9-11'. Only this time the towers are the very 'towers of our civilization and society' and are falling due to PRE-PLANTED EXPLOSIVE CHARGES in slowmo.....the same general group of criminals is denying the whole thing and puttting up scapegoats and attention diverters while sucking in all the 'missing' money for themselves. I fear this is the big one and could last a decade or longer and leave most on this planet in battered shape, if they survive at all. This does seem to be a classic frighten and fester article. I still remember - in fact I shall never forget - another one some years back. This article stated that 700,000 Chinese troops were secretly "massing" on the US-Mexican border. The mind boggles. Just how do you get 700,000 fully armed, fully equipped and fully rationed troops into Mexico without anyone knowing. Try it with 7 and okay, possible. 70 and no way.

I wonder what the objective is? Clearly it is out to trash something, but what?
