Another in the endless mass shootings in USA - this time Denver
MM makes some good points that do need to be made. So, we have several factors at play in America, I believe:
1] An historic and currently increasingly societal means of dealing with 'problems' via violence. The County officially acts violently - whether its the Police, the Military or the Intelligence Agencies, et al. Those at the top use violence and set the model for others who don't think out morality from first principals for themselves.

2] America is bristling with guns and high-powered, military assault guns, large magazines, laser sights et al.

3] An increasing number of persons are becoming addicted to games who's main 'goal' is virtual killing, hunting, stalking, murder and torture of others.

4] An officially created atmosphere of fear and powerlessness has been fostered by those who run the Country for purposes of control and to manipulate the population for their own evil ends.

5] Mind control shooters/killers are a fact in the USA. The only question is how many there have been and how many more there will be before the People dismantle all those who would exploit the other factors above and combine it with well-developed mind control techniques on susceptible subjects. Not all killings nor even mass killings are mind-control subjects. However, IMHO, many of them to most of them may well be.

6] Besides what one might call active mind-control, there is a more pervasive sub rosa mind control in society - via advertising/propaganda/'news'/MSM; TV subliminal messages; speaking of liberty and peace, but actions of totalitarianism and war; the manufactured fear through poverty, violence (economic through regular types); junk foods, bad diets and lack of exercise and natural hobbies; a culture of the domination paradigm 'par excellance'; a class and racially tiered society; false values; teaching that one is powerless against the corrupt power of the 'state' and elites; teaching greed is good...and other pervasive psyops by government, corporations, intelligence agencies, the oligarchy and others.

...one hell of a lot of work to do and things to expose to those who are blind to this or afraid to admit they see it...in order to head in a SANE and Peaceful direction. America has lost its way by design of a few, but the following of the many. Perhaps even sadder is the many other countries and cultures increasingly following or being forced into following the American 'model'. America is far from the only sick society - historically or now - but we seem to be the most malevolent one currently, both internally and externally. Certainly no role model I'd suggest anyone else to follow.

We live in a time where the president may sentence anyone on earth to death-by-drone

Where the PLA occupiers of Tibet must play violent combat-simulation video games to counter loneliness, isolation, demoralization and decay of military skills

Our friend who may be stationed in Gitmo (waterboard me, I can't say for sure) played for us a tape of he and his buddy playing a zombie attack game with loud sound effects of machine guns and grenadesand of course screaming zombies

James Eagan Holmes in his only courtroom video is hammered

Adele, I share your suspicion of the phone calldid Holmes indeed get a call, was it an operation signal, or a hypnotic trigger

If the shooter was in a gas mask and the gas mask was down the walk while Holmes was at his car, was Holmes the shooter, or the hypnopatsy

There are now three generations of useful Holmes's

The exceptional neuropsychiatric student from UC Riverside, receiving a healthy grant, withdrawing from a successful program to prepare and execute an intricate shock theater piece

Peter, you frame an interesting thesis with:

I begin to wonder if 1] persons who play these games become both zombieized and desensitized to killing and 2] if those who are behind mind control can use these games and those addicted to them to create chosen 'killers' under mind-control for deep political purposes.....and have.

The film is an entry into an alternative future world

The Holmes act is leapt upon by Ross/Stephanopolous as Tea Party, and by any number of initial claims of OccupyI posit it is neither, but the confusion is a design element

The costume is that of an official power figure, the act, an unlawful entry

Mitch Daniels' Indiana Supreme Court declared the citizen has no right to resist an unlawful police raid

Additional feints include the coincidence of the new moon commencing the Ramadan fast and the Jewish camp counselor record of Holmes

Police response, although rapid, was typical: to wait outside until the killing stopped

Stringing tape and chalking silhouettes on the pavement was the phrase used

The subliminal question is that of the week's political back-and-forth:

Was this the creation of an individual or an act of the state

Because Fast and Furious involved more guns and two hundred bodies, not twelve

But these are early days

Phil, These games are very sophisticated at this point and I could EASILY see that players might be monitored both off and ON LINE (while gaming) for the 'right stuff' to be used. Once a target of interest, they could well be fed a different 'game' than the others get....especially constructed - tailored for them and their mission. While I have no objective evidence of this, it is totally within current capabilities of the technology and would only be an electronic form of what MK/ULTRA and its sister programs were all about.I throw it out as informed speculation. That both Brievik and Holmes [and I believe other] mass-shooters played games addictively, I'm inclined to think the game [in its standard form] causes a desensitization to killing, and remoteness from reality; then personalized feeds to that computer and that person can be used to construct and command a cyberpatsy. Worth exploring if any such programs and research along these lines have been/are being conducted! An i-Phone is the final umbilical electronically for the completion of mission. A step up from the polka-dot woman. It is known that using microwave frequencies one can make one hear voices in the mind - that could be used to re-enforce a planted mission or hypnotic suggestion when the person is not online. Next, surely will be electronic implants....just years away...initially tested in the early 60s.

James Holmes Received $26K Grant From Bethesda-Based National Institutes of Health
July 24, 2012 7:49 AM

WASHINGTON (CBSDC/AP) - James Holmes, the alleged gunman in the recent theater shooting that left 12 dead in Aurora, Colo., was previously awarded a $26,000 federal grant.

WNEW News reports that Holmes was awarded a prestigious grant from the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Md. NIH is part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

It gave the graduate student a $26,000 stipend and paid his tuition for the highly competitive neuroscience program at the University of Colorado in Denver. Holmes was one of six neuroscience students at the school to get the grant money.

Holmes is expected to be formally charged next Monday. He is being held on suspicion of first-degree murder, and he could also face additional counts of aggravated assault and weapons violations. Holmes has been assigned a public defender.

Weeks before, Holmes quit a 35-student Ph.D. program in neuroscience for reasons that aren't clear. He had earlier taken an intense oral exam that marks the end of the first year but University of Colorado Denver officials would not say if he passed, citing privacy concerns.

At a news conference, university officials refused to answer questions about Holmes. "To the best of our knowledge at this point, we think we did everything that we should have done," Donald Elliman, the university chancellor.

The judge has issued an order barring lawyers in the case from publicly commenting on matters including evidence, whether a plea deal is in the works or results of any examination or test performed on someone.

Much does not add up.

Reports state that he purchased the four guns over the past two months. He must have been a very, very busy boy since May
to become as proficient as he was with not one but three different types of firearms. Not only proficient but according to a CBS article** he
accomplished an extraordinarily high hit percentage ratio with the shots he fired.

With three different kinds of weapons.

In a dark theater.

With smoke canisters reducing visibility.

While wearing a full face APR (air purifying respirator) on his head.

Not only must James Holmes be a bonafide genius but a rather impressive martial arts specimen as well. Could 007 have done it better?
To become the complete package that we are being led to believe, he must have been practicing each and every night for the past eight weeks.......
in the dark, on moving targets, with his APR, his shotgun, his rifle, and his sidearms.

But there can be no rest for the wicked. During the day he must have been preparing all of those IEDs in his apartment, right?

WMR also has a new report on the interesting past of the Aurora police chief which goes on to other issues and connections and more on the neuroscientific research, Holmes' father, etc.

There are many (including Carolyn Baker, who speaks truth to power and is the priestess of collapse: http://carolynbaker.net/2012/07/22/massa...n-baker-2/ ) who want to point the finger at society, and join in the wailing, gnashing of teeth, and ritualized grieving for the excesses of industrial civilization. (It is interesting to notice that one of the people involved in post-traumatic counseling after the Virginia Tech shooting was trained as a medical intuitive at the Monroe Institute.) Baker notes that our culture must learn to grieve in authentic matter. I think our culture needs to learn more about mitigation. While the excesses of industrial and war-addicted civilization are well-known and identified and deserving of our attention, "cause" is much more proximal.

What can I say? Maybe I wasn't snarky enough for my message to get through. Wink
Of course he wasn't practicing for the past two months, there was not enough time in the past
half year to reach the level of skill that the attack demonstrated. Not to mention the IEDs. It ain't the
Matrix where he could just download Jujitsu from his on-line gaming.

He's a patsy.
