"Sure the government killed Kennedy, but what can you do about it"?
A stupid view point expressed to stop a conversation before examining any evidence or such.
Age of the respondent didn't matter, nor did it matter that this comment was an interruption "butting-in" to a discussion with other people.
The conversation was not stopped but for a moment. Some Americans want to know what is the real state of knowledge in the Nov. Coup and what has come of late.
Some take another tack and are stopped by a perception of their own and "our" futility.
Some couldn't accept the concept Jim Douglass wrote of.
In direct contrast to the fact that 85 - 90 percent or more of the American People reject the Warren Magic Bullet and all the junk that goes with it. However too many feel nothing can ever be done about the murder in Dallas.
That idea is something I must resist. This view hands the laurels of victory to the enemy at no cost.
So I guess I would combine 2 views expressed by Greg Burnham and by Phil Dragoo:
"My objective is to inform this--and the next generation--as to the dangers of government run amok. My objective will be met when I have fought the good fight to that end. My objective is that we never forget our dying king.
These objectives will be met...not in my lifetime, but perhaps in my grandkids' lifetimes...or their children's children's lifetime. Do not forget JFK. He made a difference for all of us. Do not forget JFK."
and
"I would smell victory when the people say this guy was framed; we got cheated into a war wrapped around our bodies with heavy chain, its deadly anchor in the South China Sea
(and they whined that Bush got them in two wars over WMDsyet uncritically accept a bad shot with a toy gun shooting magic bullets by remote control from a lunchroom dinette, its drone joystick a cheese sandwich, or a Coke)
Frank Zappa would tell his audience, "If your children knew how lame you are, they'd kill you in your beds.
I would gladly settle for the death of innocence"
The only thing I would add would be to banish the idea that "you can't do anything about the assassination" to history's trash bin by demonstrating not only that some citizens do care and seek redress. I don't want our own people to be able to say junk like that and try to stop open free discussion of the November Coup.

"They" murdered Kennedy.
"They" got away with it.
"They" wrote a false history.
"They" got away with that, too.
--but--
I will not let them get away with my mind.

This is how Jews have always seen and understood history.. 5773 years worth.
(obviously there are MANY other peoples and examples... just not with as long a history of being the object singleminded destruction)
When persecuted from the womb on, When virtually always on the sharp end of the stick.... one accepts certain things about humans that others may overlook
Especially the "America's Got Talent" crowd who can't even be bothered to get up to turn the channel
Many have stood against the tidal wave only to be washed away... Sure they make some of the water go around them... yet there are simply not enough to stop it.
So it becomes "join 'em and beat 'em at their own game"... except once inside the golden palace, why bother getting up to change the channel?
"THEY" are us.
Strip away systems and governments... the teenager working at the 7-11 still tries to get away with stealing a drink or a few bucks, cause no one is looking.
A group mistreats a lady walking down the street.
Now add in POWER, MONEY, INFLUENCE and GREED... the means to steal a country, to bankrupt a nation.
When we ALL teach our next generation that LIFE, LIBERTY and the PURSUIT of HAPPINESS is paramount.
That ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL in the truest sense of the words
We will have won. The evil is defeatable... yet "they" have made it much too comfortable NOT to fight for most. (thank you all from Salandria on)
Let's at least agree... we may not have won or lost - but the fight is certainly not over.

Then they set their sites on bigger and bigger murderous events, culminating in 9-11 and wars of convenience.
No they did not get our minds but they decidedly got away with all else.

His mind slid away into the labyrinthine world of doublethink. To know and not to know, to be conscious of complete truthfulness while telling carefully constructed lies, to hold simultaneously two opinions which canceled out, knowing them to be contradictory and believing in both of them, to use logic against logic, to repudiate morality while laying claim to it, to believe that democracy was impossible and that the Party was the guardian of democracy, to forget, whatever it was necessary to forget, then to draw it back into memory again at the moment when it was needed, and then promptly to forget it again, and above all, to apply the same process to the process itself -- that was the ultimate subtlety: consciously to induce unconsciousness, and then, once again, to become unconscious of the act of hypnosis you had just performed. Even to understand the word "doublethink" involved the use of doublethink. - George Orwell (Nineteen Eighty Four)
Howard Beale: I don't have to tell you things are bad. Everybody knows things are bad. It's a depression. Everybody's out of work or scared of losing their job. The dollar buys a nickel's work, banks are going bust, shopkeepers keep a gun under the counter. Punks are running wild in the street and there's nobody anywhere who seems to know what to do, and there's no end to it. We know the air is unfit to breathe and our food is unfit to eat, and we sit watching our TV's while some local newscaster tells us that today we had fifteen homicides and sixty-three violent crimes, as if that's the way it's supposed to be. We know things are bad - worse than bad. They're crazy. It's like everything everywhere is going crazy, so we don't go out anymore. We sit in the house, and slowly the world we are living in is getting smaller, and all we say is, 'Please, at least leave us alone in our living rooms. Let me have my toaster and my TV and my steel-belted radials and I won't say anything. Just leave us alone.' Well, I'm not gonna leave you alone. I want you to get mad! I don't want you to protest. I don't want you to riot - I don't want you to write to your congressman because I wouldn't know what to tell you to write. I don't know what to do about the depression and the inflation and the Russians and the crime in the street. All I know is that first you've got to get mad. You've got to say, 'I'm a HUMAN BEING, Goddamnit! My life has VALUE!' So I want you to get up now. I want all of you to get up out of your chairs. I want you to get up right now and go to the window. Open it, and stick your head out, and yell, [shouting] Howard Beale: 'I'M AS MAD AS HELL, AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE!' I want you to get up right now, sit up, go to your windows, open them and stick your head out and yell - 'I'm as mad as hell and I'm not going to take this anymore!' Things have got to change. But first, you've gotta get mad! You've got to say, 'I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore!' Then we'll figure out what to do about the depression and the inflation and the oil crisis. But first get up out of your chairs, open the window, stick your head out, and yell, and say it: Howard Beale: [screaming at the top of his lungs] "I'M AS MAD AS HELL, AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE!" ~ Network

Lee Oswald led three lives Marine intelligence operative, false defector, FPCC provocateur; when the fourth (patsy) was revealed, he called back to the first, sealing his doom, Marchetti said.
Winston Smith trapped at the stroke of thirteen learning of power from O'Brien.
The Party seeks power entirely for its own sake. We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power. Not wealth or luxury or long life or happiness: only power, pure power. What pure power means you will understand presently. We are different from all the oligarchies of the past, in that we know what we are doing. All the others, even those who resembled ourselves, were cowards and hypocrites. The German Nazis and the Russian Communists came very close to us in their methods, but they never had the courage to recognize their own motives. They pretended, perhaps they even believed, that they had seized power unwillingly and for a limited time, and that just round the corner there lay a paradise where human beings would be free and equal. We are not like that. We know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means, it is an end. One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship. The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power.
Howard Beale taken to school.
There are no nations. There are no peoples. There are no Russians. There are no Arabs. There are no third worlds. There is no West. There is only one holistic system of systems, one vast and immense, interwoven, interacting, multivariate, multinational dominion of dollars. Petro-dollars, electro-dollars, multi-dollars, reichmarks, rins, rubles, pounds, and shekels. It is the international system of currency which determines the totality of life on this planet.
The power seeks to isolate the event, strip it of context, remove its implications, erase its purpose and utility, hence its inevitability and undeniable conspiratorial nature.

Yes, Virginia, governments lie; it's how business gets done.
And governments lie to their (subjects, citizens, slaves, sheep) because giving them the business is how they remain in power.
I submit the government lies about its rolling over Kennedy on deniable tires in the precise same manner it lies about Fast & Furious (arming the narcos), Benghazi (arming the Muslim Brotherhood), Afghanistan (monopolizing the smack), Burma (smack futures), Vietnam (smack past, and the Brown & Root cause: arms profits), and keeping North Korea as the deniable catalyst for more tension arising from the Orwellian Quadrilateral.
Was Kierkegaard correct or can these things be seen coming at us rather than only in the rear-view mirror.
Robert Kennedy, Jr., was the first of the notables to protest the murder of the king.
Dulles who saw nothing of Lifton slandered John as pretentious yet who behaved above moral code, striding through killing fields with Henry and David.
When Hillary demands of the questioner out of his depth, "What difference does it make at this point?" it's clear:
Hers was the paean to Alinsky the permaradical only and always targeting, to divide and conquer for power.
John Kennedy was so rare; rare as a founder or a philosopher: contemplating.
He dared the prescriptive rather than be shackled to the descriptive.
And like Spartacus and Braveheart was martyred for the larger freedom.
The lying ought to be called to account. Truth can be the new standard.

And you will atone....
Howard Beale fictional though he may be approached the third rail of mass communication. He spoke truth to power, which he could have gotten away with, he motivated and united ThePeople as in WeThe, which I doubt could be overlooked.
He spoke truth in exposing the fact that the 99% are messed over and united the American People in seeking active redress of being ripped off.
That the powers that be could not tolerate. The threat of forced change to the ST game must be re-actively managed.
Network is one of my favorite films. Those kinds of works are too rare. I wish there were more like it. Thanks Paddy. I need that kind of thing.
The MSM can lie and confuse and cover-up and promote darlings like Pose-ner or Mr. Mack, BUT they cannot rob a mind of freedom. That one must decide to give away. IMO.
In the ages of Ops Chaos, Bluebird and God only knows how many other ops against the minds, they can try to swindle one out of the freedom of thought.
In the face of the knowledge of how badly some ST operatives want to cheat me of the freedom of thought, I don't get depressed. I get insulted by the audacity of the attempt. I ain't that d*mn stupid.
Then I get angry and more determined to resist the psyops. Every day more determined.
Best Regards to all.
Jim
