No, I am in no way related, thank God(although they are as rich as sin). Though in 1946 when I was born in Wash. DC, my namesake was Undersecretary of the Army, I believe. Maybe my mother was up to shenanigans? G. Boydon was one of his offspring and the whole family were friends of the Bushes, and a nasty bunch. There was a GG II and III as well, I believe. GG II could have tried his hand at acting, my profession, because when I joined the the union I was told I would have to change my name. He subsequently dropped from the roles of AE, and I got to keep mine. I have always wondered what became of him, but I can't find anything about him on the internet. You would think with his family you would.

I thought some of the personal situations were kind of trite, as was some of the dialogue.
And I thought the ending was over the top. But the picture was so well made and acted that these were blurred.
I actually reviewed the movie when it came out. I thought it was one of Lumet's best. And certainly Paddy's best script. ALthough The Hospital was good.
BTW, what a joke the Academy Awards are.

That year, Network and Taxi Driver were both up for Best Picture. They were beaten by Rocky.
What a joke. That is why I don't watch the Oscars anymore.
BTW: Is your name a coincidence, if you know what I mean?
