Breaking: Explosion Reported at Boston Marathon's Finish Line
I don't find it odd that exercises/drills are conducted during actual events. The excessive security personnel appear under the easy explained cover of security... and they of course announce that there IS a drill going on and this is suppose to make everyone feel safer... drilling in real world conditions of crowds and so forth.

Yet some group with knowledge of the drills can then use the drill themselves as cover to create a LIVE incident and the drill people would be terribly confused. So if the drill was about a whacko bomber in the crowd... they would be drill fakes and then the real bombers could be the *fake* security... hiding under the cover of the drill... and the decoys who were playing the part of the bombers would turned into patsies. They would figure out pretty quickly that they are likely going to be blamed / caught and have a hard, if not impossible time, to explain what they were doing carrying *bombs*... or more likely killed by snippers.

So we can see how easily someone with enough insider knowledge can take the exercise live. But what would there motive be? In this fantasy the motive seems to be a test of how the fascist martial law would work in this society... and that could still be a rogue element inside the FBI or understands that in emergencies they will go to code red or whatever it is and shut everything down... a real time test of a martial law shut down of civil society. It's possible that the bombs were meant to blow up or kill the two patsies and do less damage than what happened... when the rogues detonated bombs carried in and placed on the ground..

Who knows?

Americans rolled over and played dead for the goon squads...No resistance to loss of rights and martial law at all. Media was right there.

Jan Klimkowski Wrote:Laterally, for some reason, I'm reminded of k.t. Frankovich's harrowing account of the behaviour of military types in the aftermath of Hurricane Andrew.

The entire first person account deserves to be read.

However, it is k.t.'s description of life in an armed police / military / FEMA lockdown that has floated into my consciousness:

Quote:So what actually did take place when Andrew survivors tried to get help from those collecting dead bodies in the aftermath? Well, I for one can give a firsthand account. About the third day into the aftermath, a long line of police cars cautiously drove into my area during the late afternoon. We had not had contact with any other people from outside the devastation up until this point. There were approximately 12 to 15 police cars comprising this caravan, each marked from different locations throughout the state. Each car was driven by a man dressed in a dark police uniform and had three other plain-clothed men riding as passengers, making a total of four men in each vehicle.

Someone from our group spotted the caravan and ran to get me, knowing that I had been badly injured and that I urgently needed emergency medical help. My twenty-five-year old son and one other adult male survivor, helped escort me to the caravan. We hurried toward the lead car. It stopped moving when we approached the driver's side. The officer sitting behind the wheel rolled down the window. For a few moments he rudely ignored us, at one point giving us an impatient look of disgust.

This is the exact conversation and course of events that took place.

"Please sir, I need medical help," I begged, barely able to speak.

The officer sitting behind the wheel sighed heavily. He turned his head away from me and gazed out his windshield. The other three men in the car quietly looked at me.

"Sir, please, I need to get to a hospital!..." I begged frantically.

The officer took his time about reaching over to turn off the engine. With another sigh, he slowly opened the door and climbed out. He then proceeded to close the door and stood there with his legs spread astride.

"Lady, do me a favor," he answered. "Find yourself a piece of paper and a pencil. Write down your name and social security number next to the telephone number of your nearest living relative. Tuck the piece of paper in your pocket so tomorrow when I find your body, I'll know who to contact."

"No!... No!" I cried out. "You don't understand. I need to get to a hospital. I've been badly injured."

"No! You're the one who doesn't understand," he hissed back. With that, he reached over to his holster and took out his gun. He grabbed me, forcing me up against the side of the car, and proceeded to put the barrel of the gun against my temple. I heard the hammer cock.

From the position he had pushed me into, I could see directly into the car. The man sitting in the front passenger seat looked away from me immediately, glancing down at the floor. The two passengers in the back seat turned their heads quickly, staring out the window on the opposite side of the car.

My son and the other survivor watched as the officer had pulled back the hammer on the gun. So shocked out of their minds by what they were witnessing, neither one could move!

"You don't belong here!" the officer growled, pressing the barrel into the side of my head. "Now you get the hell outta here before I blow away your ass!" He shoved my face into the car window and then released me.
Someone grabbed me from behind and whirled me around so fast, I didn't have time to think! Before I knew it, I was being thrown over their shoulder. They took off running as fast as they could! I caught a brief glimpse of my son running next to me. With one gigantic leap, he and the survivor who carried me, dove behind a pile of debris! All three of us crashed on top of each other in one tangled up heap.

"I'll shoot your damn asses!" the officer's voice rang out.

Chilling. And this is also all over the net. It was very hard to see my former hometown (Newton MA) under Martial Law yesterday and last night. Sheeple everywhere.
No one is even talking about the loss of life in West Tx. Or how that place blew up. One story called it "a crime scene".

Apparently the pair hijacked a car after the bombing and told the occupant that they were the bombers. This is similar to the pair escaping from the Ambassador Hotel on the fire escape saying "We just shot Bobby Kennedy".

Another false flag red flag is the FBI checking out of one of the terrorists a few years ago and clearing him. Direct analogy to 9-11.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The FBI interviewed suspected Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev in early 2011, it said in a statement late Friday, following a tip from a foreign government that he was "a follower of radical Islam" and was preparing to leave the United States to join underground organizations.

The FBI said its interview two years ago of Tsarnaev and his family, along with checks of travel records, Internet activity and personal associations, "did not find any terrorism activity" at the time.

But the revelation is the first evidence that the Tsarnaev family came to U.S. security officials' attention after they emigrated to the United States about a decade ago, and it could raise questions about whether the government missed potential warning signs about the behavior of two brothers.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, died overnight in Boston in a shootout with police. His younger brother, Dzhokhar, 19, was taken into custody on Friday evening in the Boston suburb of Watertown after a dramatic, day-long manhunt, Boston police said.

The FBI statement did not disclose which foreign government asked it for information about the brothers and their family. But Tamerlan was widely reported to have made a trip to Russia last year.

The brothers and their family were ethnic Chechens, whose small republic's attempts at independence following the collapse of the Soviet Union were brutally crushed by Moscow. Both brothers, however, were born in the Central Asian state of Kyrgyzstan, the FBI statement said, and Dzhokhar was a naturalized U.S. citizen.

The revelation that the elder Tsarnaev was on U.S. law enforcement authorities' radar screens seemed likely to raise uncomfortable questions for the Obama administration about whether it could have done anything to detect and stop the plot.

"It's new information to me and it's very disturbing that he's on the FBI radar screen," Rep. Michael McCaul, Texas Republican and chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, said on CNN late Friday.

It is not known when the Boston Marathon bombings were planned, or whether there were clues that could have allowed authorities to pre-empt it.

National security and law enforcement authorities said on earlier Friday that they had not turned up any evidence that the Tsarnaevs had contacts with al Qaeda or other militants overseas.

Rep. Peter King, New York Republican and member of the House intelligence committee, said in a statement that there "was no federal intelligence or chatter prior to the marathon bombings," a reference to militant communications often picked up in advance of an impending attack.

The U.S. officials said they were leaning toward the theory that the bombings were motivated by Islamic extremism, although that remained unproven.

WERE THE TSARNAEVS WORKING WITH OTHERS?

Violent plots involving a single individual or small groups who self-radicalize and have minimal dealings with other militants can be extremely difficult to detect in advance, according to U.S. counterterrorism officials and private experts.

The revelation about the FBI contacts with the elder Tsarnaev came as U.S. officials told Reuters that investigators are scouring government data banks to determine if spy and police agencies missed potential clues that might have alerted them to the two brothers.

Another top priority for investigators is to determine whether the brothers had any confederates either inside the United States or overseas, one U.S. official said. This official and others spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss an ongoing investigation.

Three people were taken into custody for questioning in New Bedford, Massachusetts, police said on Friday. Two men and a woman are being questioned by the FBI "on the assumption there is an affiliation with" Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, Lieutenant Robert Richard of the New Bedford Police said.

One official said the possibility that the U.S. government had information that should have raised questions about the Tsarnaev brothers before the attack could not be ruled out. Other officials said they were unaware that such material had turned up.

In several recent cases, U.S. intelligence and law enforcement agencies failed to put together clues that, in hindsight, might have led them to pre-empt a plot.

In 2009, U.S. Army Maj. Nidal Hassan killed 13 people and wounded another 32 at Fort Hood, Texas. Prior to the shooting spree, Hassan had email contacts with Anwar al-Awlaki, the U.S.-born cleric and leader of al Qaida's affiliate in Yemen who was later killed in a U.S. drone strike.

U.S. authorities had investigated Hassan's emails, but concluded they posed no threat of violence.

The father of Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, the so-called "underwear bomber" who tried to bring down a U.S. jetliner over Detroit on Christmas Day 2009, reported suspicions about his son's activities to the U.S. Embassy in Nigeria. But Abdulmutallab's U.S. visa was never revoked.

A report by the Senate intelligence committee heavily criticized U.S. intelligence agencies for failing to act on available information in that case.

But Brian Jenkins, a respected terrorism expert at the RAND Corp., dismissed the idea that the Boston bombings represented an intelligence failure.

People will inevitably ask, "did we miss something in intelligence?" said Jenkins, speaking before the news of the 2011 FBI interview with Tamerlan Tsarnaev become public.

"Some people will label it an 'intelligence failure.' But that's because people have come to expect 100 percent security," he said.
One of the two- forget which now- reportedly became a US citizen 9/11/12. Telling.

A friend who has watched this non stop told me on the phone yesterday that a friend of the boys, a mechanic said one of them OWNED a car that fits the description of the aleged hijacked car, that he had recently worked on this car. Oh yea the boys told the car owner that they did the bombing. SURE. Now I get it. A confession. Case closed.

Destablization and the creation of widespread panic and fear is the hallmark of Gladio type operations dating back to the 1950's.

The British used pseudo gangs in Kenya and Malaya during that time frame. The man with the knowledge of how that all panned out, then went to Northern Ireland to handle the "troubles" there.

There are just so many examples from around the world where debstabilization and fear have been the main elements of the playbook. Hence the huge spontaneous outpouring of clapping, celebrations and joy when the 2nd suspect was caught. Fear is a terribly restrictive emotion.

This has been happening in Europe and elsewhere around the world for decades. It's relatively new phenomena to the US. My guess is that you will be getting more and more used to it, and you might want to fairly quickly get more fully acquainted with Gladio type modus operandi.
The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.

Politically, Karl Denninger, owner of Market Ticker, is a libertarian. Whilst he runs a good and important forum frequently exposing financial market nonsense, I disagree with many of his political views.

His response to what happened in Boston is fascinating.

Quote:Thoughts The Next Morning

I have a general policy that when something*****es me off enough to want to throw things at my TV I go have a drink and refuse to write on it until having slept first.

Sometimes I wake up with a different perspective.

And sometimes not.

This is one of the "nots."

Last night, unless you live in a cave, you know that the second bombing suspect was captured alive. The first one died from a combination of bullets and being run over by his brother in a carjacked vehicle trying to escape.

Yeah, that really nice kid who we now have in custody ran over his brother.

But let's take a look at the facts, shall we?

Such as the fact that despite every news anchor and many of the people in Boston pumping their fists and screaming "USA!" along with lauding law enforcement, the fact is that law enforcement could not find its ass with both hands.

It doesn't stop there. Oh no, by effectively occupying a part of the Boston metro area they made an utter mockery of the 4th Amendment. There was no "hot pursuit" and thus no argument available to them allowing searches of private property without consent or a warrant. Not only did they search without a warrant there were multiple reports through the day of seizure of firearms, among other things.

The Constitutional Rights of an entire town, some 30,000 residents, were wantonly and outrageously violated yesterday, yet not one media outlet is focusing there.

Nor are they focusing on the fact that after a full day of undeclared and illegal martial law, complete with "papers please", unconstitutional searches and seizures and military hardware and weapons all over the streets (heh Barack, what was that crap about "weapons of war"?) the cops FAILED to find the jackass.

Instead, within a half-hour of the "can't find our ass with both hands" cops giving up on locking down the town an ordinary citizen finds the bad guy in his boat.

In 30 minutes "We the people" do what thousands of cops spending millions of dollars and violating the rights of every citizen in the town could not and the people did it without all that fancy military hardware too.

So what do the cops do? They shoot at and destroy the boat, of course, in "convincing" the bad guy to come out. Boats you see, must not have extra holes in them or they don't float very well. The cops added many extra holes and a few flash-bangs to the mix too, despite knowing that the vessel had a full tank of fuel on board and might catch on fire or explode. It didn't, fortunately, but that's small consolation to the owner who is almost-certain to see both the city refuse to pay for the damage and his insurance company refuse to cover it too (look in your policy; in general such "acts of war, declare or undeclared" are considered non-covered perils.) Never mind that the guy actually doing the warlike things (the terrorist) didn't cause the damage -- the cops did.

Was there anything the cops did right? Well, yeah, I suppose. Their fancy FLIR gear on the chopper, once pointed out where to look by the homeowner, did detect the heat of the jackass in the boat. Ok. Wow man, technology. I'm supposed to be impressed by this after the specific location of the bad guy was pointed out by the homeowner who saw him in the boat and called the police?

FAIL.

Massive, outrageous, millions of dollars in overtime and worthless hardware FAIL, to go along with a citizenry that cowered in abject fear of a couple of jackasses.
