Huffington has someone claiming Hickey did it...

yet when asked... he discusses his following head turn to his right and rear at z 200.... while JFK, first looking left at 157, is looking right impossibly fast... a shot was removed from the turn... imo... and this may also be when Zapruder begins filming at 48fps... and the alteration of the following few hundred frames begins... Indeed.

Sadly, for the people and their media, the answer is that there can never be enough steaming ordure.
If only the media really were the people's media we would not be subject to this sort of insult. But then if it really were our government their would be no cover up either.

I'll bet that someday when Castro's regime falls, and US troops "intervene to restore order" in Cuba, the black ops crew will plant some forged documents that have been ready at Langley for decades to "prove" Castro was responsible for JFK's assassination. And most of the country will buy it. The masses have never been good at critical, skeptical thinking, and they never will be. They are badly educated, kept too busy and distracted, underpaid and overworked, and most barely have the time to watch some Corporate News in the evening.

Yep. The masses have never been taught to think critcally. The education system does not give people the means to question and understand their world and thier role in it despite individual teachers who may well be inspiring and who themselves are still mostly products of the same system. Systemically it is designed to churn out basically competent robots to operate the machinery of society to make money for others so they don't have to work but can still own. Not to change or question society. The last thing in the world TPTB want is an informed autonomous independent and empowered society interacting peacefully and co-operatively.

Based on his painstaking investigation, McLaren said, evidence suggests Hickey was not qualified to use the weapon he was holding the morning of the shooting.

"It was his first time in the follow car, his first time holding the assault weapon he was using," McLaren said. Producers said the film's theory is that shots rang out, and Hickey grabbed his weapon to return fire. When his car stopped suddenly, Hickey accidentally discharged his weapon -- making him the second shooter, the film's investigators and producers alleged.

Evidentially, this is a crock of shit.

At the mundane level, it's as perfect a psyop distraction as Fetzer & "Cinque's" ridiculous Oswald Innocence Project.

At the deep political level, it's ideal as it provides a way round the nonsense of Three Shot Oswald and the Magic Bullet, it identifies the Second Shooter as an Innocent rather than a Conspirator, and it does absolutely nothing to address the issue of high level coverup, fabrication of evidence, murder of witnesses and Warren Commission Big Lying.

It allows MSM to wallow in "conspiracy theories" about the assassination of JFK, attract an audience for their advertisers, and distract the populace down the blindest and most harmless of alleys.

In short, scramble the people's brains in steaming, bubbling, ordure.
Well said Jan.

Where they find these clowns is the New Yorker. That's where Malcolm Gladwell purveys lobotomy to the wannabes. And they will get away with it because nobody will call out the New Yorker on peddling refried shit. Create political costs for these lobotomies.

I did a talk tonight at a book store with a pretty sophisticated crowd.

In the Q and A, someone asked me about Hickey.

Boy they are really revving up the disinfo machine aren't they?

And its still over 3 1/2 months away.

My reaction also.

Your final sentence draws comparison to another aphorism:
"If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit."

Apparently, one of the themes of the 50th.

And it is no accident that the likes of Ken Rahn and John McAdams declare that they are teaching critical thinking skills in defending the LN lie.

Telling case in point: Rahn, a scientist who was allowed to teach a University of Rhode Island class in critical thinking and the JFK assassination, proudly awarded an "A" grade to a student who argued that the observations of Parkland Hospital ER physicians treating JFK -- in particular those who confirmed the presence of a large exit wound on the rear of JFK's head -- must be discounted based on statistics indicating that a significant majority of ER physicians in American hospitals have little or no experience treating gunshot wounds.

Seriously.

Pay no attention to the fact that Parkland's ER physicians treating JFK -- the only statistically relevant population for this study -- could claim considerable experience in dealing with gunshot wounds.

A Rahn-approved critical thinker is equally concerned with the skills of doctors on the night shift at Beverly Hills Central.

So true, Magda. And, with respect to the US, when you factor into this generationally rigidified attitudes about American exceptionalism and the right to use force to "protect" our interests, what hope can there be of change?
