Whackjob Conspiracy Theorists Kill and Maim Millions…
#1
And not a peep out of the MSM

Quote:Each and every day adherents of one of the most preposterous conspiracy theories ever devised bomb, assassinate, unhouse and torture innocent men, women and children across the globe. They do so not merely without stay or reproach from the world’s most powerful governments and media, but with their unqualified support and encouragement. So who are these tinfoilhat-wearing mass murderers and why are they so thoroughly exempted from the normal rules of civilised life?

The answer is that the men and women who undertake the bestial policies sketched so briefly above bear the uniform of their countries, or operate in the burgeoning imperial legions of plainclothes spooks and contract thugs; and because they cleave to the Official Conspiracy Theory of 9/11.

For it really has nothing to do, and never has, with a belief in conspiracy theory per se. This way of viewing the world is a human constant, & always will be, not least because it powerfully accords with our experience. No, what delineates conspiratorial acceptability is infinitely cruder – Power. Embrace the establishment’s approved conspiracy of the moment, and all things are possible, from Ford Foundation grants - to mass murder.

Couldn't agree more Paul. There is much being made about the white supremacist guy who opened fire at the holocaust museum being a 'conspiracy theorist' as if that should explain his behaviour. But I fail to see the distinction, except the enormity of scale, between his actions and those of the US in invading Iraq/Afghanistan with the conspiracy theory of a link between Saddam and Al Queda or that they don't like our freedoms or that OBL is hiding in a cave there or what ever the conspiracy theory of the day is.
"The philosophers have only interpreted the world, in various ways. The point, however, is to change it." Karl Marx

"He would, wouldn't he?" Mandy Rice-Davies. When asked in court whether she knew that Lord Astor had denied having sex with her.

“I think it would be a good idea” Ghandi, when asked about Western Civilisation.

Oh you people... :dancing2:

"George Washington" responds to the growing cacophony of voices (Glenn Beck, David Corn, Mother Jones,, Keith Olbermann) who say that the 9/11 truth movement is linked to terrorists (or Libertarians, but then they're already officially declared terrorists).

“Given the false claim being made that people who question 9/11 are terrorists (and see this), I encourage people to form groups that show how mainstream questioning the government's version of 9/11 really is.

For example, I encourage people to form groups such as:

"Grandparents for 9/11 Truth"
"Working Parents for 9/11 Truth"
"Soccer Moms for 9/11 Truth"
"Sports Fans for 9/11 Truth"
"Weekend Athletes for 9/11 Truth"

There are already many excellent expert groups questioning 9/11, such as Political Leaders for 9/11 Truth, Lawyers for 9/11 Truth, Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, Firefighters for 9/11 Truth, Medical Professionals for 9/11 Truth, Veterans for 9/11 Truth, Medical Professionals for 9/11 Truth, Religious Leaders for 9/11 Truth, Pilots for 9/11 Truth and Scholars for 9/11 Truth & Justice. And there are many excellent websites rounding up those who question 9/11.

But those don't necessarily reflect the mainstream, everyman quality of those who question 9/11.”

Being of a personal nature that is disinclined to join large groups, I decided a long time ago to start a new group: “News-trained, music-loving, first-aid instructors-on-steroids, 'experienced', now-disabled former association exec stroke survivors for 9/11 Truth”.

Meetings were held, study groups created, project assignments handed out to committees, fund-raising was done, etc.

Wanna join? Entry requirements are a little steep …

but you can easily start your own group."

You can take the 'piece' by George and play 'find and replace' with "9/11" and fill it with a lot more issues and events. For example, "I encourage people to form groups that show how mainstream questioning the government's version of _________ really is."

Thanks for the invitation Ed, but I already set up my own group -- After Hours Brit Beer Drinkers for the Truth about 911.:beerglass:

We specialize in reading the froth patterns in the bottom of our beer glasses.

After 4 pints a LOT of strange patterns appear. As if by magic.
The shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.

I know the phenomenon.

After just three Rusty Nails, I sometimes hear the drone and skirl of the bagpipes.

I'll send a pint of your choice over to your table..

What a gentleman you are. Make mine a large Glenmorangie followed by a cask of Adnams bitter.

And please join me for the Glenmorangie...
