I heard this last night on the radio just before I fell asleep and was shocked and saddened.
From his facebook page I see many messages, one being from a friend of 15 years who wrote that this is no fake suicide but was planned.
Such a hero. Why did he do this? Memories now too of Gary Webb, who I do NOT believe was a suicide.
RIP Mike. Your site "From the Wilderness" has been a place I sent people to for a very long time to understand the CIA and Cocaine smuggling/dealing.
Your DVD Collapse is now on facebook.
Sleep with the angels.

No matter how much it looks like a real suicide never underestimate their ability to make a suicide happen.

Sorry, I'm sad at his death, but not convinced about it being a suicide. His lawyer is naive as can be to let the standard police appointed coroner do the autopsy and reports/tests - they always err [or are instructed to report] on the side of a suicide - they never see foul play and never a murder made to look like suicide. the entry below is new on the collapsnet:

# WesleyMiller 2014-04-15 15:28Just spoke to the coroner's office. The autopsy is being performed this morning, so there is no way I can be there. They will be sending me the coroner's report later today, followed by the complete autopsy results (with toxicology, etc.) within a few months. I will report it here directly as those reports come in.
I also spoke with the man who found MCR's body. He was a friend of Mike's whom I had met several years ago in Sebastopol. There was no question about it being a suicide - it was all planned out by MCR. MCR used a Glock 30 .45 caliber pistol and shot himself in the head. It hurts me even more because I recommended that gun to him (it's my carry gun) and I even gave him a quick-draw holster for it on MCR's birthday a few years ago. Yes, I am still very emotional about all...

By whatever means, Mike has crossed the Rubicon. R.I.P. truth seeker and thank you for everything.

Was Tosh address Michael's death?! Did they know one another?....I believe they did meet way back when in LA, when Mike was a narcotics detective there.
Another thing...Glocks have been used all too frequently in what seem to be black op shootings of all kinds - mass and 'suicides'.

With MR having such a presence in the deep political community, I suspect this should be perceived as an escalation in the GWOT. The domestic phase has been active especially since the Occupy movement. The message? We won't just watch, harass, and entrap you: we will kill you.

Even if it really was his idea [i.e. suicide], I feel it was 'murder' - as he was threatened, attacked, hounded, hunted, had his computers destroyed and had to flee the USA for a long time [never fully explained the full nature of the threat, but not hard to imagine] and they kept him at low level financially, under watch, subject to arrest at any time, the usual they do to drive those they don't kill to kill themselves.......

MCR's last broadcast.
He describes waking up in terror day after day among other things.

Despite his gloom about current day life and polity [which I share], I don't personally hear anything in his voice that is the voice of a man who within 24 hours will shoot himself in the head! As to those near him believing he did - my mind goes back to Mrs. Demohrenshieldt who also believed that her husband committed suicide - when I think it is now clear he could NOT have and did not! Someone can often talk about suicide, even often think about it, and NOT be the agent of their own demise. Just saying. I don't know, but I know I'll doubt the coroner's report. Those ALWAYS say it was suicide - name just one which says it was a suspicious homicide made to look like a suicide! I can't think of one - other than a few done by INDEPENDENT forensic pathologists after the fact. A person under great stress and personal grief is often believed to have committed suicide when they die - but those that defy TPTB sometimes are 'offed' and it made to look like suicide. I even have the CIAs instructions on how to pull just such off......
Yes, whatever, Michael has now crossed the Rubicon. In many ways he was an original leader in the 9-11 Truth movement and other push-backs against the Big Lies and onslaught of neo-fascism. It is very sad.
One last point. I just read he left behind a beloved dog named Rags. People with dogs they love don't just shoot themselves and not make sure the dog has a home and love...just doesn't happen. Color me very very skeptical.
Listening to the show he sounds loved and respected, having a role in change [whatever his own personal pains], and he often quotes from Jensen and even more McKenna - both persons I'm close to.....one still alive and the other who fought to the end the brain cancer he got [and I'm highly suspicious about, as well]. A very sad loss. The good they die young. McKenna and Ruppert - and so many others.
