Unknown if this is the same guy. I couldn't find the middle initial of the JFK Dempsey Jones anywhere.

The odds of this kind of incident happening by coincidence are somewhat incredible, to say the least. I read an old thread on the Ed Forum where our "friend" went to great lengths to discredit Ralph Yates. David Josephs posted the FBI Dempsey Jones report and pointed out the significance of it to our friend. For the next several pages, our friend and David von Pain had it out with the great researcher Sean Murphy, tag teaming poor Sean and throwing everything but the kitchen sink at him. Unfortunately for this pair, Mr. Murphy has more debating talent in his little finger than the two of them together can produce, and he basically handed their butts to them.

One thing I found strange; during the course of this thread, both our friend and DVP used many similar phrases in their posts, such as "C'mon, Sean". Just another coincidence?

Most informative Bob! And one reason we don't have the lone nutters here. Too much time wasted dealing with their designed and circular crap. We want to case to move forward not get stuck going over and over the same discredited red herrings. The work of researchers can and should be tested by other researchers but only those with good intentions of progressing our understanding not that of blocking, denying and disappearing the evidence found.

I have never understood why people like DVP were encouraged to troll at the EF. People like him in my opinion are paid to infiltrate such forums. Let's face it, lone nutters just don't go on forums. They have zero interest in this case. They accept the official version and don't read books which challenge the lie. Conversely those who spend their life advocating the WC position are a very suspect lot. Glad we don't have 'em here.

How do we know we don't have them (or have had them) on this forum, Dawn? Trolls come in all shapes and sizes, and some actually pass themselves off as CT's, all the while working at the disruption of affairs at a JFK forum. I could give some examples but I'm afraid there is no way of doing so without being slanderous.

"Slanderous" implies lying. If you stick to the truth when stating facts, and clearly note your opinions as such, there is no slander.

Yates told Jones about the hitch-hiker because after having a discussion about shooting Kennedy with a sniper days before Yates had seen this bizarre man going out of his way to portray himself as a potential sniper gun and all. This put a buzz into Yates that caused him to seek out Jones and tell him about the bizarre coincidence. To say the whole story was due to Yates' mental illness is wholly dishonest and is only a cheap attempt to project Yates' FBI-caused mental disturbance back on to the witnessing.

There's two other important pieces of evidence connected to the story. The curtain rods or gun wrapped in brown paper shows evidence of pre-planning, as does the brown paper wrapper found at the post office addressed to Oswald. This is evidence of a pre-existing plan to conceal the gun for smuggling into the Depository. Next is the plan to shoot Kennedy from an office building with a high-powered rifle as said by Milteer. Since Milteer obviously heard this phrase from someone connected to the plot the hitch-hiker's use of the same concept suggests an ongoing plan that was known amongst the plotters.

Unlike some forums I could name, ahem, here you are allowed to discuss and even be members of other forums.

I'm not suggesting its against the rules, I'm suggesting that it doesn't add much to the real work and research that is happening here.

Maybe you admins could open up a separate category of threads for discussing (or dissing) the shouting matches occurring elsewhere.
