Ah, yes, I remember the PDS article. The two presentations on the incident are quite similar in many ways. The only new significant information in the book by Cottrell is the parallel 'exercise'......something I plan to look into further and report back on. PDS also has some connections not gone into in the Cottrell book. I have some Norwegian friends who seem to have been largely baboozled by the official version, although they remain confused by some notable inconsistencies.

I think there is info here about the training happening. But the book sound good and I'll try and find a copy.

I remember Peter Dale Scott talking about this on Red Ice Radio:
This was definitely a Gladio operation as far as I'm concerned (or a Gladio offshoot, at least.)

My only problem with Cottrell's book is it really should have many more footnotes. Such a controversial topic really needs the information supported. As a researcher, I also like to find the sources and perhaps explore them. He has a few notes - but very sparsely. An otherwise good book, if one takes the information as reliable - which from my experience almost entirely is. Some few parts which I've not read elsewhere once or several times, I can't be sure of without researching them on my own.
