As I said in my original post. It's not that the author agrees with this viewpoint; he is expressing the point of view of the plotters and how they justified the assassination in their minds. It must be read from the point of view of fanatical right-wing "patriots."

Some times fiction is more revealing that 'non fiction'.

Sibel Edmonds' The Long Gladio is a good example of this.

That's on my list of must read books. Have you enjoyed reading it R.K. ?

The writing is sub-par in places (as you would expect from someone who has no background in literary fiction) but the plot is excellent and anyone with an interest in deep politics will enjoy it. It would actually make an excellent film if only there was someone left in Hollywood with the cojones to touch this kind of material.

Another very good book along similar lines is The Prone Gunman by Jean Patrick Manchette. This one actually has been turned into a movie recently, but sadly it looks like a giant steaming turd. Oh well.

Yes, the writing is just okay. But he really has done his research. I had never even heard of the Avro Arrow Canada-Pentagon project, which the CIA may have helped to kill because it was competing with the U-2.

Wait if meds and alleged womanizing are the chief complaints of the plotters then this is decidedly not a book I would consider reading. ANd it's not why the plotters killed JKF. Or how they likely justified it. And to complain about his war record??? He nearly died saving his men.
Not getting why people so like this book. Dark Side of Camelot is garbage too.

Dawn, I'm 40% of the way through the book and JFK isn't even President yet. I'm still in 1958. Oswald has just met his CIA handler in Japan. But flipping ahead, I can see that JFK's policies will be the main reason why the plotters want to kill him.

Australians have this same problem with buying books from the UK and US. It is very frustrating and unfair to the consumer. Some thing to do with copyright jurisdiction. There are plans to have it changed in Australia.

Can you create another Amazon account with a US persona and have it delivered to a UK address?
